PUBLIC NOTICE
RE- INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR THE EXECUTION OF 1ST -4TH QUARTER 2016, 1ST – 4TH QUARTER 2017AND 1ST – 4TH QUARTER 2018, UBEC INTERVENTION PROJECTS IN THE BASIC EDUCATION SCHOOLS IN EBONYI STATE
The Ebonyi State Universal Basic Education Board, Abakaliki urgently requires the services of reputable contractors/firms, for the execution of 1st -4th Quarter 2016, and 1st -4th Quarter 2017, and 1st -4th Quarter 2018, UBEC intervention projects in the Basic Education sub-sector of the state.
Interested contractors are hereby requested to tender for Prequalification for the Execution of the projects herein stated.

Pre-Qualification Requirements
Interested tenders are hereby notified that all pre-qualification bids are to be examined based on the provision of the following:
(a) Evidence of company incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
(b) Evidence of registration with Ebonyi SUBEB as contractor.
(c) Evidence of Current Tax clearance for the test 3yrs.
(d) Evidence of registration with Ebonyi State Government as a contractor.
(e) Evidence of technical personnel.
(f) Evidence of bank reference letter
(g) Evidence of similar job carried out and completed by the company within last 3yrs
(h) Evidence of registration with Bureau of Pubic Procurement (BPP)
(i) Affidavit disclosing if any Director has been convicted in any court for any criminal offence relating to fraud or financial impropriety, criminal misrepresentation or falsification of facts relating to any matter
Bidders are advised to adhere strictly to the above requirements in their own interest
The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any tender/pre-qualification bid documents which do not comply with stipulated guidelines/tenets of due process.
Tender Procedure
Pre-qualified bidders are required to pay a non- refundable feel of N20,000 (Twenty thousand Naira only) to the State IGRI Accounts with GTBank Ogoja Road branch, Abakaliki and collect receipt from the Board’s cash office on presentation of bank paying teller.
Bidding documents can be collected by pre-qualified companies/firms from PPMW Department SUBEB Ebonyi from the 9:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday from 7th August 2019.
Deadline for Submission of Bid Documents
Bid documents must be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked Lot(s) No of “Year 2016, 2017, or 2018, Universal Baste Education Intervention Project” and submitted to the Office of Head of Department: Physical Planning, Works and Maintenance, Ebonyi State Universal Basic Education Board Abakaliki, on or before 18 September 2019
Note:
(i) Successful firms will pay VAT and withholding tax to Federal Government and 1% Educational Development Trust fund levy and stamp duty.
(ii) All Companies which submitted their bid/bids in response to the Board’s advert of 18/3/2019 need not re-submit.
