INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION AND TENDER FOR PROJECTS UNDER TETFUND 2016/2017/2018 (MERGED) INTERVENTION IN ICT SUPPORT
Kogi State University Anyigba in its bid to improve her ICT capacity base hereby invites reputable Bidders and Contractors to pre-qualify and tender for projects under the TETFUND 2016/2017/2018 (Merged) Intervention in ICT Support.
2. PROJECTS
The projects are listed as follows;
S/N PROJECT TENDER FEE (N:K) 1. WEBSITE REMODELLING/RE-STRUCTURING:(i) Consultation on Website Strategy and Research to include – Development of Site Map, Prototyping, Design-set/asset.(ii) Design Development to include-responsive design/development, WordPress CMS Integration.(iii) Production Management and Implementation to include Content Migration, SEO (on page optimization) and Social Media Integration.(iv) Re-Hosting the Website for 1 year using a hosting platform that supports WordPress, https, protocol, unlimited HDD and automatic backup.(v) Acceptance Testing of the restructured Website in the presence of all stakeholders in the school.(vi) 12 Months support after commissioning.(vii) Training of 10 ICT staff for 5 working days on the platform and Content Management and Administration of the restructured Institution’s Website. 5,000.00 2. INTERNATIONAL COMPUTER DRIVING LICENSE (ICDL):(1) BASE MODULE -Training of 50No. Staff of the Institution on Computer Essentials, Word Processing, Spread sheets and Online Essentials for 5 days.(2) INTERMEDIATE MODULE – Training of 45no Staff of the Institution on Presentation, using Database, IT Security, Project Planning, Digital Marketing, ICT in Education, Online Collaboration(3) ADVANCE MODULES – Training of 43 Staff of the Institution on Advance Word Processing, Advance Spreadsheets, Advance Database, Advance Presentation for 5 Days 10,000.00
3. PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Prospective Bidders who must be ICT Firms are required to submit the following pre-qualification documents:
(a) Valid evidence of registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission including forms CAC2 and CAC7;
(b) Company Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC) for last 3 years (2016, 2017 & 2018);
(c) Evidence of the Company’s Annual returns to CAC for the past 3 years (2016, 2017 & 2018);
(d) Evidence of Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITT) certification;
(g) Possession of current Interim Registration Report (IRR) as evidence of registration in the National Database of Federal Contractors, Consultants and service providers;
(h) Evidence of Firm’s Accreditation as a Test Centre (ATC) with International Computer Driving License (ICDL);
(i) Sworn Affidavit:
• No Director of the Company have been convicted in any country for criminal offence related to fraudulent or corrupt practices, or criminal misrepresentation or falsification of facts;
• That the Company is not in receivership, insolvency, or subject to any bankruptcy proceedings or any form of winding up petition;
• No officer of the relevant Committees of Kogi State University is a former or present Director, shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the Bidder and to confirm that all information provided in this bid are true and correct in all particulars.
(j) For Training: Evidence of Firm’s Accreditation issued by Centre for Management Development (CMD);
(k) For Website: Evidence of 5 (five) years of website design experience including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, latest release of WordPress, CMS, etc.
(l) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years stating clearly the clients, locations, contract sums of such projects, including copies of letters of award and photographs of the projects;
(m) Evidence of Firm’s registration with National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) and Computer/Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN);
(n) Comprehensive Company Profile, including Curriculum Vitae of Key Staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their academic/professional qualifications and contact numbers;
(o) Company Audited accounts for 3 years (2016, 2017 & 2018);
(p) Evidence of financial capability to execute the projects from a Bank; and
(q) Evidence of adequate relevant equipment and infrastructure to handle the project.
The Prequalification documents must be transmitted with the covering/ forwarding letter under the Company’s letter headed paper bearing amongst others; the registration number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), contact address, telephone number (preferably GSM number) and email address.
The letter headed number must carry the names and nationalities of the Directors of the Company at the bottom of the page and must be duly signed by the authorized officer of the Company.
Pre-qualification documents listed above should be neatly bound, marked “Pre- qualification documents for TETFUND 2016/2017/2018 (Merged) INTERVENTION IN ICT SUPPORT, stating the project” and submitted to the Registrar on or before 12noon of Tuesday 4 February, 2020.
4. TENDER PROCEDURE
(a) Tender documents are to be collected from the office of the Director of Physical Planning in the University upon presentation of original receipt from the Bursary Department for payment of non-refundable Tender fee.
(b) Completed Tenders should be returned in sealed envelopes marked “Tender for TETFUND 2016/20 17/2018 (Merged) INTERVENTION IN ICT SUPPORT, stating the project” and addressed to the Registrar, Kogi State University, P.M.3. 1008, Anyigba on or before 12 noon of Tuesday 4 February, 2020.
Note: Only Companies that are pre-qualified shall have their Tenders considered.
5. OPENING OF TENDER
Tenders shall be opened at 12:05pm on Tuesday 4 February, 2020 in
