REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RECRUITMENT OF AN INDEPENDENT AFRICAN CONSULTANCY FIRM TO ASSIST THE PANEL OF EMINENT AFRICANS IN THE PRE-SELECTION OF THE SENIOR LEADERSHIP POSITIONS OF THE AFRICAN UNION COMMISSION
1. The African Union Commission has received funds from its Member States and intends to apply a portion of this funding to eligible payments under this Contract, reference number AUC/BCP/C/001
2. The African Union Commission now invites Technical and financial proposals to provide the following Goods and services: Recruitment of an Independent African Consultancy Firm to Assist the Panel of Eminent Africans in the Pre-selection of the Senior Leadership Positions of the African Union Commission.

A firm will be selected under the Quality and Cost Based Selection method and procedures described in this RFP.
The RFP includes the following documents:

Section 5 – Financial Proposal – Standard Forms

All bids must be accompanied by:
Valid Business registration documents
ONE (1) Original and TWO (2) Copies of the Technical and financial proposals
Signed Technical proposal and financial submission forms
Joint venture Agreement in the case of firms submitting as joint ventures. The Lead firm must be African.
Bid Validity: Proposals should be valid for at 90 Calendar days from the bid closing date.
Bid Opening: Technical Proposals ONLY will be opened immediately after the bid closing hours at 15:00 hours in the presence of bidders or bidders’ representatives who choose to attend, at the address below. Late bids will be rejected and returned unopened to bidders. The venue for bid opening shall be the meeting Room of the Administration and Human Resources Directorate located on the 3rd flr, Building C.
Bid Submission modalities and submission deadline: This is a TWO ENVELOPE bidding. Bidders should ensure that the Technical and Financial proposals are enclosed in TWO separate envelopes, sealed and both should be enclosed in one outer envelope clearly indicating the Bid title and Procurement number. Proposal submission deadline is Friday 6 th March 2020 at 1500hrs.
