TENDERS INVITATIONS TO BID FOR THE BUILDING OF NMA NATIONAL
SECRETARIAT LOCATED AT PLOT 443 ZAMBEZI CRESCENT, MAITAMA, ABUJA

1. INTRODUCTION
The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) wishes to solicit from interested and qualified contractors with requisite expertise and experience to submit their prequalification documents for the execution of the following project.

3. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
A. Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation/Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and provision of company’s profile including its board of Directors; attach copies of forms CAC2 and CAC7.
B. Evidence of current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2017-2019) issued by the Federal InlandRevenue Service (FIRS)
C. Evidence of Financial capability to execute the project (Bank Reference).
D. Evidence of successful execution of similar projects previously
E. Evidence of compliance with the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF)
F. Estimated project duration

4. SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENT
A. Submission of PrequalificationDocumentsDocuments for prequalification shall be submitted in a SEALED envelope and address to the Chairman, NationalSecretariat Building Committee, Nigerian Medical Association(NMA) National Secretariat, No. 8Benghazi St. Off Addis Ababa St.Wuse Zone 4, Abuja FCT.

B. Evidence of Payment of a non-refundable tender fee of Two hundred and fifty thousand naira only (N250,000:00) into Nigerian Medical AssociationBuilding Fund account Zenith Bank account number1016774864

5. Opening of PrequalificationDocumentsPrequalification documents shall be publicly opened immediately after the closing date on 28 February 2020 at 12noon in the presence of bidders or their representatives and interested members of the public at the NMA NationalSecretariat, No. 8 Benghazi street off Addis Ababa Crescent, Wuse Zone 4, Abuja FCT.

6. Disclaimer And Conclusion
A. This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of the NigerianMedical Association to prequalify the listed project.
B. The Nigerian Medical Association will not be responsible for any costs or expensesIncurred by any bidder in connection with the preparation of their documents.
C. The Nigerian Medical Association is not bound to consider any bid and reserves the right to reject any or all bids at anytime prior to the acceptance of the bid without assigning any reasons whatsoever or cancel the procurement proceeding in the public interest.
D. Lowest price will not be the sole criteria, quality delivery time and previous experience and or obligations may also be considered.
E. The Association reserves the right to amend the quantity of work in the tender.
F. Only a duly executed Deed of ConsultancyAgreement or its equivalent shall constitute a binding contract/obligation between the Association and prospective tenders.
