INVITATION TO BID FOR PROPOSED REHABILITATION OF COLLEGE OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY, PAMBEGUA CAMPUS, KUBAU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA, KADUNA STATE
INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND
In line Law No. 34 of 2018 establishing the Kaduna State College of Nursing and Midwifery, the requirements of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria and the Kaduna State Government’s’ policy of delivering good and qualitative healthcare services, there is need to upgrade facilities at the Pambegua Campus of the College to meet the minimum training standards. This will help enhance service delivery to the teeming populace of the State. The State Government, therefore, wishes to invite Contractors to tender for the rehabilitation of facilities at the Pambegua Campus.
Collection of Financial Tender Documents th Interested companies/firms can obtain the Tender Documents, from 17 March, 2020 between the hours 10.00AM – 4.00PM, Mondays to Fridays at a non-refundable tender fee of:
i, N150,000.00 for Lot 1, 2, 3 & 5
ii, N50,000.00 for Lot 4, 6 & 7
payable to Kaduna State Government via Bank Draft, to the address below:
Project Unit, Ministry of Health,
Independence Way, Kaduna.
Any submission not accompanied with the draft will Not be considered;
The draft must Not be in the Financial Bid Envelope.
SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS
a) Completed Technical and Financial bids are to be submitted in three (3) hard copies each (Original, Duplicate and Control copies).
b) The Technical and Financial bids must be inserted in separate sealed envelopes clearly marked “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid.”
c) All the envelopes must bear the name and contact number of Bidder at the rear sides with the ‘Project Description’ and ‘Lot No.’ clearly marked at the top left-hand corner of the envelopes and addressed to: The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Health, Independence Way, Kaduna.
d) The Original and Duplicate copies of the Technical and Financial bids shall be placed in a large outer envelope which shall be dropped into the Bid Box.
e) The Control copies of the Technical and Financial Bid documents shall be marked at the top right-hand side as ‘Control Copy’, and dropped in the Control Box.
f) Failure to comply with this requirement of separate and sealed envelopes for Technical and Financial Documents shall lead to disqualification.
g) The submission shall be made not later than 12.00PM, 16 April, 2020.
OPENING OF BIDS
The Technical and Financial Bid documents received shall be opened immediately after the close of receipt of bids on 16 April 2020 in the presence of the representatives of the Bidders at: Conference Hall, Ministry of Health, Independence Way, Kaduna.
Only technically qualified bids will proceed to the financial evaluation stage
GENERAL NOTICE
a) Only the bids that meet the pre-qualification requirements shall be considered. b) Evidence of purchase of the bid should be placed in the Technical Bid Document.
c) This advertisement shall not be construed as contract award or any commitment on the part of the Kaduna State Government or its Agency/Agents; nor shall it entitle any company/firm to make any indemnity from the Kaduna State Government or any of its Agencies/Agents by virtue of such company/firm having responded to this advertisement.
d) Response to this advertisement does not oblige the Kaduna State Government or its Agencies/Agents to consider responding company/firm’s bid.
e) The Client reserves the right to accept any Bid, annul the Bid proceedings, or to reject any or all bids at any time prior to Contract award, without thereby incurring any liability, or any obligation to inform Bidders of the grounds for the action.
f) Late submission will be rejected.
g) Submission of Tender through e-mail or fax will not be accepted.
h) The currency shall be the Nigerian Naira.
i) All submissions must be made in English Language.
j) Pricing should be made in indelible INK.
