REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL – PR9032397 – TO CONSTRUCT AND INSTALL FIFTEEN (15) MANUAL DROP ARM BARRIERS AT TWELVE (12) RESIDENTIAL LOCATIONS OF THE U.S. EMBASSY IN ABUJA.

The U. S. EMBASSY ABUJA requests proposals from architectural and engineering firms to construct and install ‘Manual Drop Arm Barriers’ for four embassy residential locations following strictly the attached SOW and Construction/Installation guidelines. The locations with the number of barriers to be installed in each location are as follows:

  • Furnish and Install Two Manual Drop Arm Barrier for ARIZONA Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for BAMBINO Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for BOSTON Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for DARTMOUTH Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for HARLEM Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for HYATTSVILLE Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for MADISON Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for ONTARIO Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for SANTA FE Compound
  • Furnish and Install Two Manual Drop Arm Barrier for SONOMA Compound
  • Furnish and Install Two Manual Drop Arm Barrier for ST. LOUIS Compound
  • Furnish and Install One Manual Drop Arm Barrier for UTAH Compound

A pre-proposal site visit has been scheduled for this requirement on the 20th of March 2020 by 10.00 am at the embassy compound, Plot 1075 Diplomatic Drive, CBD Abuja.

The evaluation criteria for this requirement will include price, technical acceptability and past performance.

For a valid quote/proposal, please note the following:

  1. Please include performance schedule, specifications, samples/pictures/complete drawings, (where applicable), along with your quotes.
  2. Vendor must state BOLDLY if offering alternatives.
  3. All responses and quotes on this RFQ MUST be a direct reply to this email, and have the same subject line; copying Abujaprocurement@state.gov
  4. Vendors must state delivery terms (How long it will take to deliver).
  5. Deadline for offer submission is March 26, 2020.

Unsuccessful bidders will not be contacted. Oral quotations will not be accepted.
