INVITATION FOR TECHNICAL AND FINANCIAL BIDS FOR EXECUTION OF TETFUND YEAR 2019 ZONAL INTERVENTION PROJECT NO. 2019T/SZ05
1. INTRODUCTION
The college of Education, Katsina-Ala hereby wishes to invite contractors with proven capability, relevant experience and good track record to be considered for technical and financial bid exercise for:
SUPPLY:
Lot Description 1 Supply Installation, Commissioning and Testing of Various Special Education Equipment and Materials
2. ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for the above, contractors with proven capability are to submit notice of intent to pre-qualify in the tender exercise which should be accompanied with the following documents/requirements.
(i) Company registration certificate/incorporation with the corporate Affairs Commission;
(ii) Valid Tax clearance certificate covering at least the last three years;
(iii) Evidence of Compliance with Pension Fund-PENCON;
(iv) Evidence of Compliance with ITF contribution;
(v) Evidence of Compliance with National Social Industrial Trust Fund (NISTF)
(vi) Evidence of interim Registration Report (IRR) from the Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) Federal Contractors, Consultants and Suppliers Database.
(vii) Court Sworn Affidavit that information are true and correct and that none of the Company Director have been convicted of any crime relating to fraud and also that none of the Directors is a staff of the College of Education, Katsina-Ala or Bureau of Public Procurement.
(viii) Company profile and technical qualification of key Personnel with registration or with relevant professional bodies.
(ix) Verifiable evidence of financial capability and bank support from a reputable Bank.
(x) Verifiable list of projects executed.
(xi) Verifiable evidence of construction equipment with proof of ownership or lease agreement.
(xii) Evidence of payment of VAT for the last three years
(xiii) Company’s audited financial reports for the last three years.
(xiv) Verifiable evidence of payment of a non-refundable tender fee of N10,000.00 to be paid to the College Bursary Department.
3. Prospective bidders are requested to obtain the Tender Documents upon the payment of the proscribed fee of N10,000.00 payable to the Bursary Department, College of Education, Katsina-Ala.
4. SUBMISSION:
(1) 2 copies each of the Technical and completed Financial bids (Two sets of hard copies, i.e. Technical and Financial bids) shall be submitted to 2 separate sealed envelopes marked “Technical Bid” and “Financial Bid”. The two envelopes should be enclosed in a large envelope labeled “Technical bid Financial Bids” with the Project Name at the top right hand corner with Company name behind and addressed to: The Provost College of Education Katsina-Ala, Benue State.
(ii) The documents should be deposited in the Tenders Box at the Provosts Office of the College to reach this office not later than Tuesday 9 June, 2020 at 4:00pm.
5. OPENING OF BIDS:
All submitted tenders shall be opened on Wednesday 10 June, 2020 in the College School of Arts and Social Science Block Conference Room by 10am. All bidders, NGOs are invited to witness the public opening exercise
6. NOTE:
(i) A post review of procurement document may be carried out where contractors and service providers may be required to present the original copies of their CAC, PENCOM, TAX, ITF certificates and may thereafter refer any or all to the relevant security agencies, corporate Affairs Commission, Federal inland Revenue Service (FIRS), National Pension Commission and other relevant bodies for verification.
(ii) The College of Education, Katsina-Ala however, reserves the right to reject any or all submissions that do not meet up with the requirements specified.
7. DISCLAIMER
The College of Education, Katsina-Ala Tenders Board will not be responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party in connection with response to the invitation and of the preparation or submission in response to an inquiry.
