1. This Invitation of Bids follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for this project that appeared in UNDB online issue No. 76 of 17 September 2009 on-line and on the African Development Bank Group’s Internet Website (www.afdb.org).
2. The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the African Development Fund in various currencies towards the cost of the Urban Water Supply and Sanitation Improvement Project in Oyo State. It is intended that part of the proceeds of this loan will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Construction of Sanitation Facilities in Public Schools, Markets, and Other Public Places.
3. The Water Corporation of Oyo State now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of Sanitation Facilities in Public Schools, Markets and other Public Places, under three (3) Lots viz;
LOT I: Construction of Salutation Facilities in Public Schools
The Scope of the works under Lot 1 is as follows;
(i) Construction of 12Nos. Toilet Building Structures in Six Public Schools within Ibadan
The number and identification of structures comprising this Lot is
S/N Name of School Male Female 1 Methodist Secondary School, New Bodija Favos. (ii) Connection of the above to nearest water mains
LOT 2: Construction of Sanitation Facilities in Public Schools
The Scope of the supply for Lot 2 is as follows:
(i) Construction of 13 Nos. Toilet Building Structures in Seven Public Schools within Ibadan.
The number and identification of structures comprising this lot is:

LOT 3: Construction of Sanitation Facilities in Market and other Public Places
The Scope of the supply for Lot 3 is as follows:
(i) Construction of 5 Nos. Toilet Building Structures in Five Market and Public Places Schools within Ibadan.
The number and identification of structures comprising this lot is:
S/N Name of School Structures 1 Bodija Plank Markets (Iso Pako), Ibadan 1 2 Oke Bola shopping Complex, Oka Bola, Ibadan 1 3 Bodija Food Market, Bodija, Ibadan 1 4 Beere Market, Beere, Ibadan 1 5 Eleyele Motor Park, Eleyele, Ibadan. 1 TOTAL 5
(ii) Connection of the above to nearest water mains
All the items are to be delivered at the address stated National Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the Bank’s Rules and Procedures for Procurement of Goods and Works
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the office address below
5. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of NGN 20,000.00.

6. The provisions in the instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions are those of the Bank’s Standard Bidding Document for Procurement of Wards, Smaller Contracts.
7. Bids must be delivered to Room 18, Cabinet Affairs Department Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo State on or before 12:pm on 11 June, 2020 and must be accompanied by a security of the amount state below:

8. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders representatives who choose to attend at 12:30pm on 11 June, 2020 in Room 18, Cabinet Affairs Department, Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria
