PROVISION OF RURAL ELECTRIFICATION IN VARIOUS LOCATION IN LAGOS STATE

INTRODUCTION
The Lagos State Government (LASG) is desirous of providing rural electrification in identified communities to enhance rapid growth and development, improve the socioeconomic activities of the people, enhance small scale industries and commercial
activities, improve security of lives and properties especially at night, reduce rural-urban migration and reduce the burning of fossil fuel which create green-house gases that enhance climate change among others. The Lagos State Government intend to
apply part of its year 2020 capital budget for provision of electricity in the locations listed below.
The Lagos State government now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders for the procurement in line with public Procurement Agency (PPA) for supply and installation of equipment/works.
SCOPE OF WORK
(i) Site Clearing & Preparation.
(ii) Pole Installation.
(iii) HT & LT Conductor Stringing
(iv) Sub-Station Construction
(v) Transformer & Feeder Pillar Installation
(vi) Earthing of Network Line & Sub-Station
(vii) Disco Testing & Commissioning.
COLLECTION OF BIDDING DOCUMENT
A complete set of Bidding Document in English Language may be obtained by interested bidders at the above address between 9am -3pm upon:
(i) submission of a written application to: The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government & Community Affairs, L-Wing, Round House Extension, The Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos.
(ii) Payment of non refundable Tender fee of N25,000.00 (Twenty Five Thousand Naira) for purchase of bidding documents.
SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENT
Bids must be enclosed in sealed envelopes, properly marked as “Bidding for Provision of Rural Electrification Lot No” addressed to: The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government & Community Affairs, L-Wing, Round House Extension, The Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos and delivered at the same address on or before 12:00 hours on Tuesday, 23rd June 2020. Any
bid received other than the date, time and place described above will not be entertained.
All costs incurred by bidders as a result of this IFB and any subsequent requests for information shall be for the bidder’s/respondent’s account only.
OPENING OF BID DOCUMENT
Bid Opening exercise will be done following deadline for submission of bids at 12:00 hours on Tuesday, 23rd June 2020 at the Conference room of the Ministry of Local Government & Community Affairs, L-Wing, Round House Extension, The Secretariat, Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos. Representatives of Bidders
who wish to attend may do so.
