INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE PURCHASE OF IFAKI HOUSING ESTATE, ADO-ROAD, IFAKI EKITI

Notice is hereby given by EKITI STATE GOVERNMENT to suitable Developers to express interest in the Outright PURCHASE OF IFAKI HOUSING ESTATE, ADO-ROAD, IFAKI EKITI
Project Location; The property is located along Iworoko Ekiti Road,Ifaki Ekiti about 3.5Km away from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti and 1.25km to Ekiti State University sandwich campus, Ifaki Ekiti.
Site Description
1. The site, which is slightly L-shaped with a dual carriage road from Ado-
Ekiti, is a firm and well drained parcel of land with an approximate area
of 11.9 hectares (119,000 square metres). The estate has 42 buildings of
3 bedroom bungalow and 20 units of two terraced one bedroom apartment, with an average area of 650sqm per plot, and has 173 total plots of land, 62 developed and 57 plots undeveloped. The estate also has the following: place of worship of 3 plots, police post of 1 plot, swampy areas of about 18 plots, bank space of 1 plot, clinic of 2 plots, while 4 plots are for Educational purpose, 10 plots for recreational centre and 3 plots for commercial activities.
2. Tender Requirements
The tender requirements are obtainable from the Department of Planning, Research and Statistics of Ekiti State Housing Corporation Afao Road, Ado-Ekiti on the payment of non-refundable tender fees of N250,000.00.(Two Hundred and fifty thousand Naira only) payable to Revenue Head 1202427 ofthe Ekiti State Housing Corporation.
3. Prerequisites for Tender
(a) Evidence of valid registration with Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement(for Corporate bidders)
(b) A copy of the receipt in respect of non-refundable tender fee of
N250,000.00 by the bidder
(c) Evidence Of financial capability from a reputable bank
(d) Evidence of traceable place of permanent residence (for individual
bidders)
(e) Evidence of official means of identification e.g Voter’s ID, National ID
etc (for individual bidder)
- Site Inspection
All prospective bidders are advised to take note that site visitation and inspection will take place within the three consecutive working days toward the closure of this Tender notice, for the purpose of reconnaissance and reasonable pricing of the bill of quantity and evaluation. - Submission of Tenders
(a) All tenders must be submitted to Ekiti State Tenders Board Secretariat not later than eight weeks after the placement of the tender notice.
b) All tenders must be submitted in sealed envelopes marked “PURCHASE OF IFAKI HOUSING ESTATE, IFAKI EKITI” on the top left corner of the envelope and addressed to:
THE GENERAL MANAGER,
EKITI STATE HOUSING CORPORATION,
OKE ILA,ADO-EKITI.
(c) Bidders should NOT indicate the name of their companies at the back of
the envelope in any manner whatsoever contained in the notice.
(d) Opening of Financial and EOI
The bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12:00 noon on Friday 16th October, 2020 in the old Executive Chamber of the State Cabinet Office, Ado Ekiti, in the presence of the bidders or their representatives.
(e) Any Bidder who fails to meet up with the time and date of Opening
Tenders shall automatically be disqualified
(f) Acceptance of Tenders
All tenders accompanied with relevant documents and attachment contained in the notice must be submitted in the prescribed manner.
This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of Ekiti State Housing Corporation nor shall it entitle responding bidders to seek any indemnity from Ekiti State Housing Corporation by virtue of such bidder having responded to this advertisement.
