INVITATION FOR FINANCIAL BIDDING
DEADLINE: 5TH OCTOBER, 2020
In pursuance of the Programmes of the Government of Enugu State of Nigeria for Educational transformation at the Basic Education level and in compliance with the requirements of the Enugu State Procurement law 2010, ENSUBEB hereby invites the companies that were pre- qualified on 4th of May 2020 to tender for the construction of civil works and supply of furniture and other Educational materials for 2nd Quarter 2018 to 2nd Quarter 2019UBEC/ENSUBEB intervention projects.
SCOPE OF WORKS AND SUPPLIES:
1. Reconstruction of Dilapidated Class Room Blocks
2. Construction of New Class Room Blocks
3. Construction of toilets
4. ECCDE Chairs/Desks
5. Plastic Seats/Lockers
6. White Marker Boards,
7. Teachers Tables and Chairs
8. Ceiling Fans
9. 2 Toyota Hilux Vans (Automatic, 2019/2020 MODEL)
10. Drilling of Boreholes
11. Poultry Farms
COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS FOR BUILDING AND SUPPLIES
The Pre-Qualified companies are to collect the Standard Bidding Documents (SBD) from the office of the Director of Planning and Research and Statistics ENSUBEB on evidence of payment of non-refundable fee of N10, 000.00 Per LOT paid into the Enugu State Pay-Direct Account In any commercial bank.
SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Pre-Qualified bidders are to submit bids for each of the LOTS desired, Hard copies of the financial bids packaged in sealed envelopes and clearly marked as “Financial Bid’ addressed to the Executive Chairman, Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board. Independence Layout Enugu State, and clearly marked with (the name of the project and the Lot Number). Furthermore, the reverse of the sealed envelope should have the name and address of the bidder and should be submitted in the designated tender box at ENSUBEB, no later than 10am on 5th October 2020.
OPENING OF BIDS
All bids will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission on 5th October 2020 by 12 noon at ENSUBEB premises in presence of bidders or their representatives. Please ensure that you sign the bid submission register in the office of the Executive Chairman ENSUBEB at WAEC bus stop, Upper Presidential Road, Independence Layout Enugu State. ENSUBEB will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted bids,
IMPORTANT NOTICE;
a. The list of Schools for intervention has been pasted on the notice board of Enugu State Universal Basic Education Board.
b. Bid must be in English language signed by an official authorized by the bidder
c. Bids submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned unopened.
d. All costs will be borne by the bidders.
e. ENSUBEB reserves the right to annul the procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities in accordance with section 28 of the public procurement act 2007
