Introduction:
The Oyo State Government has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of improving the capacity ofOyo State to effectively manage flood risk in the city of ibadan and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Construction of Second Pool of Works for Long Term investments in Ibadan City of Oyo State.
The Oyo State Government, through the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project (IUFMP) now invites sealed bids
from eligible bidders for the following works contracts;
Bidding Procedures:
Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement of Goods. Works and Non-Consulting Services under IBRD Loans and.IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers July 2014 (“Procurement Guidelines”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines, In addition, please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the World Bank’s Policy on Conflict of Interest.

interested eligible bidders may obtain further information in writing from Ibadan Urban Flood Management Project, through the Project Coordinator or
Email: lufmpprocure@email.com and may also inspect the bidding documents during office hours between 9.00 Hours – 14.00 Hours, (Nigerian Time) Monday through Friday at the address given below.
Payment for Bidding Documents:
A complete set of bidding documents in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to
the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Seventy-Five Thousand Naira (N75,000.00) equivalent of Two Hundred and Ten Dollars
(USS210.00) per Lot.
The method of payment will be by Bank Draft issued in favour of ibadan Urban Flood Management Project. A copy of the bidding document can be sent to
the bidder upon a written request through a courier firm at the service cost to the bidder.
Bids Submission & Opening
Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 13:00 Hours local (Nigerian) time on Friday 2nd October, 2020. Electronic bidding will be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below by 14:00 Hours local (Nigerian) time on Friday 2nd October, 2020. The bid opening exercise will also be held virtually through
the Project WebEx platform for the bidders that cannot be physically present.
All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security in the amount and any of the currency stated in the table above.
