INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: INNOVATION CENTRE DEVELOPER/ MANAGER

Notice is hereby given that the Bank of Industry (BOI) Ltd intends to engage the services of a qualified company to carry out the design and build of customized innovation centers across the nation. The services of such a company will become critical as the Bank forms strategic partnerships to set up these centers in specific locations.
These innovation centers will be critical to entrepreneurial development nationwide and will provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to easily access operations, business and financial skills that will support their growth.
Scope of the Services
The nature of the scope of services required include:
-Design and oversee the set-up fully functional state-of-the-art centre to include co-working/desk spaces, internet access, power supply, meeting room, etc.
-Depending on the partnership agreement between BOl and its stakeholders, the company may also be required to manage the overall operations of the centre to include user management and development of programmes/ activities to run the centre(s)
Qualifications/Basic Requirements
Interested firms or consortiums must meet the following minimum requirements:
-Must have at least three (3) years of similar experience in designing and developing specialized centers
-Evidence of operating innovation centers/ hubs for at least three (3) years experience as innovation center/hub managers (where applicable)
-Detailed company profile indicating CVs of management team, ownership structure, competence of firm, office and branch contact details (where applicable).
-Any other information that may strengthen the application
A. Legal & Compliance Requirements
i. Evidence of legal registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
ii. Submission of Memorandum and Articles form CACO7 (.e.
Particulars of Board of Diréctors) and Form CAC02 (.e, Particulars of Shareholders); if applicable
iii. Evidence of relevant operating license(s) industrial sector
iv. Evidence of Registration with BPP National Database of Contractors, Consultants and service providers
v. Clearance Certificate from National Pension Commission as evidence of compliance with Pensions Reform Act, 2004
vi. Compliance Certificate from the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) as evidence of compliance with Industrial Training Fund Amendment Act, 2011
vii. Sworn affidavit indicating that all documents submitted are genuine and verifiable.
B. Financial Requirements
i. Confirmation of financial capacity of the company (3 years audited statement of accounts and financial summary)
C. Tax Requirements
i. Evidence of Company Tax Clearance Certificates for the last 3 years
ii. VAT Registration

Three (3) hard copies of all the relevant documents /information must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “EXPRESSION OF INTEREST: INNOVATION CENTRE DEVELOPER/MANAGER”.
