EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE DESIGN OF BENIN URBAN MASTER PLAN AND THE DESIGN OF EDO STATE REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT PLAN

INTRODUCTION
In line with the Edo State Government Urban and Regional Plan reform agenda, Edo State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development on behalf of Edo State Government is desirous of carrying put the Design of Benin Urban Master Plan and the Design of Edo State Regional Development Plan. Consequently, Edo State Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development on behalf of Edo State Government now invites sealed Technical Bid from Eligible bidders who wish to be shortlisted
(2) SCOPE OF WORKS/JOBS
The works to be carried out under this project are in two (2) lots which include the following:
LOTS PROJECTS DESCRIPTION BID SECURITY Lot 1 Design of Benin Urban Master Plan 1 % of bid price Lot 2 Design of Edo State Regional Development Plan 1 % of bid price
(3) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
Interested bidders are to submit a detailed company profile which should include the following:
(a) Certificate of incorporation/registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(b) Evidence of registration with Edo State Public Procurement Agency.
(c) Evidence of payment of tax by the company and 2(two) Directors or proprietors) of the Company for the immediate past 3years (i.e. 2017,2018, 2019)
(d) Company’s audited financial account (indicating turnover) and funding information over the past 3 years endorsed by a Firm of chartered accountants.
(e) Documentary Evidence of previous/similar works done in the past
(f) A sworn affidavit indicating that:
(i) None of the Directors of the Company has been convicted in any court for any criminal offence including fraud and financial impropriety.
(ii) The Company is not in receivership, insolvent or bankrupt.
(iii) That all information presented in the bid is true and correct in all particulars and can be verified.
(g) Bank Reference or Statement of Commitment to provide financial support if the bidder is awarded the contract.
These documents are to be arranged in the order in which they are listed above.
(4) SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST DOCUMENTS
Expression of Interest Document shall be submitted at the Procurement Office of Ministry of Physical Planning and urban Development on or before 12:00 noon, 5 November, 2020 in a sealed envelope, marked boldly at the right hand corner “ Expression of Interest Document” and addressed to:
Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development, EDPA Building, Sokponba Road, Benin City, Edo State.
(5) OPENING OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST DOCUMENTS
Expression of Interest documents shall be opened immediately after the submission deadline, i.e 12:00 noon 5th, November,2020.
(i) Late submission will be opened
(ii) Only shortlisted bidders would be contacted
(iii) This invitation for expression of interest should not be construed to mean commitment on the part of the Edo State
