INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR YEAR 2019 TETFUND LIBRARY DEVELOPMENT PROJECT

INTRODUCTION
The Management of Jigawa State College of Education Gumel intends to execute Projects under the years 2019 TETFUND Library Development Project. Consequently. interested, competent and qualified Contractors/ Suppliers are invited to submit Technical Bids for the projects.
THE PROJECT Lot 1:
Procurement of 2.137 no. various title of Books and Encyclopedias
PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bidders are required to submit copies of the under listed documents for scrutiny
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
(a) Registration with corporate affairs commission.
(b) Tax Clearance for the last 3 years (2017,2018 & 2019).
(c) Current Pension Commission (PENCON) Certificate of compliance.
(d) Current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Clearance Certificate.
(e) Current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) Certificate of compliance
(f) Evidence of Registration with Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) National database of contractors, consultants and services and evidence of current Interim Registration Report (IRR).
(g) A sworn affidavit confirming that all Information presented and attached are true and correct and that no officer of Jigawa State College of Education. Gumel is a former or present Director or Shareholder in the company.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
(a) Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittances.
(b) Evidence of Banking support and financial capability to execute the project
(c) Company Audited Account for the past 3years
(d) Verifiable list and documentary evidence of similar jobs and successful execution within the last 3 years.
( e) Company Profile/Technical Qualifications and experiences of Key Personnel.
Submission of Documents:
The Technical bids should be sealed in an envelope and labelled at the right-hand corner accordingly indicating the “Project Title” and “Lot Number”. This should then be addressed to “The Registrar, Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel. The envelope should then be dropped in the designated Tender Box at the Registrar’s office
Submission of Pre-Qualification Documents closes at 12:00 noon on 16th November, 2020. The bid opening exercise will take place on the same day at 1200 pm in the board room of the college Representatives of the bidders and the general public are cordially invited to witness the exercise
NOTE:
(1) This Pre-qualification Invitation should be construed to be the commitment on the part of Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel nor shall it entitled any company to make claim of whatsoever and or seek any indemnity from the college by virtue of such company having responded to the advertisement.
(2) Jigawa State College of Education. Gumel reserves the right to reject any or all the submission that do not meet up the requirement as specified.
(3) Jigawa State College of Education, Gumel is not bound to shortlist any bidder and reserves the right to annul the selection process at any time without Incurring any liabilities whatsoever to any bidder in line with the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2007.
