INVITATION FOR THE PRE-QUALIFICATION/TENDER OF CONTRACTORS FOR THE RENOVATION OF KWARA FOOTBALL ACADEMY HOSTEL (BLOCK B) AT THE KWARA STATE STADIUM COMPLEX, ILORIN
DEADLINE: 23RD OCTOBER, 2020
1. INTRODUCTION
The Kwara State Government, as part of its effort to promote sporting activities in the State and provide good Hostel accommodation, has approved the Renovation of Kwara Football Academy Hostel (Block B) at the Kwara State Stadium Complex, llorin. Interested and competent Contractors are hereby invited to participate in the bidding process.
2. PROJECT;
RENOVATION OF KWARA FOOTBALL ACADEMY HOSTEL (BLOCK B)
3. REQUIREMENTS
Interested Contractors are to provide the following:
(i) Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission.
(ii) Evidence of Registration with the Kwara State Ministry of Works.
(iii) Evidence of Current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2019.
(iv) Evidence of Registration of Technical Staff with relevant Professional Bodies.
(v) Evidence of Financial Capability to execute the project and access to Financial Resources.
(vi) Evidence/List of Plants/Equipment with proof of ownership/Lease (where applicable) and Technological Capability.
(vii) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate in the last three (3) consecutive years.
(viii) Evidence of VAT Registration and Remittance in the last three (3) consecutive years.
(ix) Evidence of Company’s Audited Account for the last three (3) years (2017, 2018, 2019).
(x) Payment of non-refundable Tender Fees for the Project.
(xi) Completion Period/Duration
(xii) Verification/evidence of availability of Appropriate Manpower, Machinery and Equipment.
(xiii) Comprehensive company profile
(xiv) Any other relevant Information or document that will enhance your tender.
(xv) All documents for submission must be transmitted with a Covering/Forwarding letter under the Company/Firm’s Letterhead bearing amongst others, the Registration Number (RC) as issued by the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), Contact Address, Telephone Number (Preferably GSM) and e-mail address. The documents should follow the order listed above with cover letter at the top of the parcel.
4. COLLECTION OF BID DOCUMENTS
Interested Contractor (s) should as from 9 October, 2020 obtain Bid Documents from the Kwara State Ministry of Sports and Youth Development upon payment of appropriate non-refundable Tender Fee.
5. SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS
Interested Contractor (s) for the project should submit completed Technical and Financial bids documents in two separate sealed envelopes. The two envelopes should be enclosed in a larger envelope and clearly marked “Tender for the Renovation of Kwara Football Academy Hostel (Block B)at the Kwara State Stadium Complex at the right- hand corner of the envelope with the company’s name behind and addressed to:
The Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Sports and Youth Development, Ahmadu Bello Way, llorin, Kwara State.
6. CLOSING DATE/OPENING
Submission of Bid closes on 23rd October, 2020 at 10:00am and late submission shall not be considered. Bids will be opened on the same day and time in the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development Conference Room.
7. PLEASE NOTE:
The Kwara State Ministry of Sports and Youth Development reserves the right to:
(i) Request for the original copies of all documents presented;
(ii) Verify the authenticity of any document or claim made;
(iii) Disqualify any/Contractor (s) with FALSE claims/fraudulent bids;
(iv) Reject any submission outside the required specifications;
(v) This advertisement Is published for Information; purpose only and will not be construed as commitment or obligation on the part of Kwara State Government;
(vi) Failure to comply with any of the instruction or provide any of the above listed documents may automatically result in disqualification.
