INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE LEASE OF SOME STATE GOVERNMENT OWNED INDUSTRIES.
DEADLINE: 16TH OCTOBER, 2020
A. INTRODUCTION
(a) The Nasarawa State Government through the Ministry of Trade Industry and Investment is desirous to lease the underlisted Government-owned industries to interested in investors.
i)Nas-Spring Water Company, Lafia.
ii) Modular Fertilizer Blending Plant, Akwanga
iii) Nasara Beef Processing Company, Masaka/Karu.
b) Further to this, and in compliance with the Public Procurement Act 2007 and the Nasarawa State Public Procurement Law 2020, the Ministry wishes to invite
interested registered, competent and reputable Companies to submit their expression of interest for the lease of any of the listed Industries.
ELIGIBILITY EQUIPMENT
-Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission, ( CAC ) with forms CO2, CO7 and Memorandum of Association,
-Evidence of registration with Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) database with Interim Registration Report ( IRR) certificate valid till 31st January, 2020.
-Evidence of registration with Nasarawa State Renders Board
-Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years [i.e 2016, 2017, 2018] certificate valid till December 2019.
-VAT registration certificate/Evidence of Remittances.
-Evidence of compliance with Pension Reforms Act 2014 (PENCOM) certificate valid till 31st December, 2019.
-Evidence of compliance with the provisions of Industrial Training Fund, ( ITF ) Act 2011 as amended with certificate valid till 31st December, 2019.-Detailed company profile and Organizational structure, including names and curriculum vitae of key staff as well as their addresses and individual attestation of availability ( for specialized expertise and consultancy projects);
-Three (3) year audited accounts for the last three years ( 2016, 2017, 2018);
-A sworn Affidavit that neither the Company nor any of the Directors of the Company has been convicted in any Court of Law for any offence, especially in respect to this publication.
-Evidence of financial strength and credit worthiness with a letter of reference from a reputable Bank and their statement for the last six (6) months.
C. SUBMISSION OF EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
Interested Companies are to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) not later than one week from the date of this advertisement, which should be addressed to the Honourable Commissioner, Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment, Lafia, Nasarawa State.
