INVITATION TO TENDER
DEADLINE: 29TH DECEMBER, 2020
Ekiti State Universal Basic Education Board (EKSUBEB) invites reputable contractors to tender for the various construction and renovation works as well as the procurement of the underlisted items under the first to fourth quarters (1st – 4th) 2019 UBEC/SUBEB Intervention projects.

| Lot 3 | Construction of Block of Dormitories/Hostels |
| Lot 4 | Completion of Block of Classrooms |
| Lot 5 | Fencing of Public Primary and Junior Secondary Schools |
| Lot 6 | Renovation of Block of (2,3,4,5,6 & 7) Classrooms |
| Lot 7 | Construction of V.I.P. Toilets with Deep Well, Overhead Tank and Generator |
| Lot 8 | Drilling of Boreholes |
| Lot 9 | Procurement of Furniture:a. Nursery furnitureb. Pupils’ desk and benches (plastic)c. Teachers’ Tables and Chairs |
| Lot 10 | Procurement of ECCDE materialsa. ECCDE Swingsb. ECCDE Merry-Go-Round |
(3.0) REQUIREMENTS FOR TENDER
Interested contractors must submit along with their following documents:
(a) Evidence of registration with Ekiti SUBEB
(b) Evidence of registration of company with Corporate Affairs Commission
(c) Evidence of registration with Federal Inland Revenue Services
(d) Evidence of registration with Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement
(e) Three years Tax Clearance Certificate for 2018, 2019 and 2020
(f) Evidence of payment of three years Development Levies for 2018, 2019 and 2020
(g) Evidence of relevant previous work/project satisfactorily executed.
(h) Evidence of Qualified Technical and Professional Staff such as registration with ARCON, QSRBN, CORBON, COREN.
(i) Evidence of registration with National Social Insurance and Fund (NSITF)
Each would-be bidder is expected to pay a non-refundable trade fee of:
(a) N60, 000.00 for construction of 2 and 3 classrooms
(b) N60, 000.00 for construction of dormitories/hostels
(c) N40, 000.00 for completion of block of classrooms
(d) N40, 000.00 for fencing of Primary/Junior Secondary Schools
(e) N40, 000.00 for renovation of a block of classrooms
(f) N20, 000.00 for construction of VIP Toilets and Drilling of Boreholes.
(g) N20, 000.00 per unit for procurement of Furniture
(h) N20, 000.00 per unit for procurement of Swings
(i) N20, 000.00 per unit for procurement of Merry-Go-Round
(4.0) Tender documents and additional information are to be collected firm the Office of the Director Physical Planning Department. Interested contractors may tender for more than one Lot separately and should note that failure to include any of the requirements above renders the application invalid.
(5.0) SUBMISSION
All valid tender documents should be neatly packed and submitted in scaled envelope marked TENDER FOR 2019 UBEC INTERVENTION PROJECTS and addressed to:

Not later than 12:00noon on 29 December 2020. Late submission of Tender Document will not be entertained as the bid opening ceremony will take place the same day.
NOTE: Contract awarded originally are not transferrable
NOTE: Further to this, Contractors with history of abandoned projects need not apply.
