RC 613 INVITATION TO TENDER:
DESIGN CONSULTANCY AND CIVIL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
DEADLINE: 23RD DECEMBER, 2020
Nigerian Breweries Plc, the leading brewer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in Nigeria, intends to carry out sundry civil design/construction and renovation projects in our premium outlets across Nigeria, and therefore requires the services of a
(i) Civil engineering/ architectural expert as design consultant for the project.
(ii) Civil/architectural-engineering construction firms as contractors to execute designs
Some of the Responsibilities of the Design Consultant
(1.0) Discuss and obtain NB Plc’s design brief and preferences for the project;
(2.0) Site and survey reconnaissance; Review existing layout and integrate new plans;
(3.0) Prepare design and working drawings in accordance with approved layout;
(4.0) Prepare design and working architectural drawings reflecting plans, furniture, partitions, fittings, equipment, ceiling and electrical layouts;
(5.0) Final concept presentation which includes 3D visuals of the concept designs;
(6.0) Prepare schedules and specification documents for all new furniture, fittings, equipment, partitions, lighting etc. as required in the scope of works
(7.0) Submission of agreed complete Sets of Working Drawings including detailed specifications, priced/unpriced BOQ;
(8.0) Clarify details as per the working drawings, specification, BOQ etc. as may be required before and during the construction stage.
(9.0) Assist with obtaining required permits for construction where necessary.
Some of the Responsibilities of the Civil/Architectural Engineering Construction Firm:
(1.0) Execute construction activities in compliance with design documents and specifications
(2.0) Implement all required HSE plans in accordance with Heineken requirements
(3.0) Recommend changes and corrective actions
(4.0) Manage project communication with stakeholders
(5.0) Attend site meetings as required, take meeting minutes and provide weekly project report to NB’s project manager
(6.0) Ensure compliance with agreed project deliverable plans and timelines
(7.0) Prepare as-built drawing
(8.0) Quality and Risk management
Tender Submission – An application letter with the under listed documents must be received latest by midnight on 23 December 2020:
(i) Company Profile
(ii) Form CAC2, C02/CAC7 or C07, and CAC 10A
(iii) Certificate of incorporation (Issue date must not be later than January 1, 2017)
(iv) Proof of financial capability (capital base)
(v) Company Organogram
(vi) Memorandum and Articles of Association
(vii) Proof of previous design/construction work for premium spaces
(viii) Relevant Qualification of Personnel
(ix) Valid statutory licenses for providing forklift services
(x) Three year tax clearance certificate
(xi) Company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy
(xii) DUNS Certificate (to be provided after the final selection process)
