REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) – PROGRAMME FINANCIAL AUDIT SERVICES

The services will be delivered over a maximum of 30 days
Brief Summary Description of RFP:
Neem Foundation is a non-profit, non-governmental organisation committed to improving the lives of populations and communities affected by the crisis in Nigeria. We support crisis prevention and peace building initiatives at community level through psychological services and social cohesion interventions that meet the needs of our beneficiaries.
Neem Foundation is seeking to engage a qualified External Auditor (individual or Audit firm) to conduct a comprehensive Programme Financial Audit of one of its projects, named the Sulhu Initiative. The outcome of the audit will culminate in a detailed report that will be submitted to the donor supporting the project.
All qualified and certified individuals or audit firms are kindly required to submit a Proposal (Technical and Financial) in relation to the below mentioned terms of reference indicating interest and providing the following information and documents;
Terms of Reference/Specification:
(a) Background information on the audit firm including;
- Eligibility- authorization to conduct audits
- Experience of the firm in relation to the scope of audit
- List of past organizations served.
(b) Your staff assignments and availability to complete the audit on a timely basis, including:
- Participation of senior audit personnel assigned to the engagement.
- Frequency of contact with Neem Foundation finance personnel.
(c) Audit firm staff stability history – what assurances can you provide to Neem Foundation regarding the assignment of your permanent personnel to the engagement.
(d) Describe your capability to audit computerized accounting.
(e) Detailed audit plan
(f) Your fee proposal to conduct the audit, along with your fee schedule for additional services that may be required beyond the scope of the audit engagement.
(g) Estimated number of hours to complete the audit by classification of your employees i.e. Partners, Senior, Junior.
(h) The team with copies of the latest firm (Partners) practicing certificates issued by the institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and Curriculum Vitae of Key Staff.

(1) Proposal with a detailed budget. The proposal must include:
- Profile of Consultant with relevant work experience
- Tax Identification Number
- Certificate of Incorporation – Corporate Affairs Commission
- TCC for the last 3 years
- Two reference letters from contracts executed

The completed proposals must be submitted to Neem Foundation on or before February 1, 2021 by 5pm
