INVITATION FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL (RFP) AS A METER ASSET PROVIDER (MAP) TO BEDC ELECTRICITY PLC
Further to successful roll-out of Meter Asset Provider (MAP) in BEDC Electricity Plc. (BEDC) franchisee area, BEDC intends to appoint more MAP parties in order to fast track the meter deployment. Accordingly, BEDC in compliance with the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) Meter Asset Provider Regulation 2018 (NERC-R-12) wishes to invite reputable companies to submit their proposals for MAP across our franchise states of Delta, Edo, Ekiti and Ondo.
Reputable firms interested in participating in the selection process are requested to collect the Request for Proposal (RfP) document from the Office of Head Procurement Unit, BEDC and inspect the RfP documents during office hours from 4th February to 12th February 2021 at the following address below:

A complete set of RfP documents may be purchased by interested eligible parties upon the payment of a nonrefundable fee of N1,500,000.00 (One Million, Five Hundred Thousand Naira Only) payable by Bank Draft in the name of BEDC Electricity Plc. (with MAP RfP written at the back of the draft).
The Pre-tender Conference for the same will be held on 12th February 2021.The time and venue for the same will be communicated to parties purchasing the RfP.
Selection will be conducted through a process of technical evaluation and Proof of Concept (PoC) installation.
Only parties that have obtained NERC No Objection’ are eligible to participate in the process. Further details on the required services are provided in the Request for Proposal (RfP) document.
MAP parties that have been selected and have signed Meter Service Agreement during the last bidding process are not allowed to participate in this process.

Electronic submission will not be permitted. Late submission will be rejected.

1. The submission of proposal in response to this advertisement does not place any obligation on BEDC to consider any Applicant for contract award.
2. All costs incurred during this process will be borne by Applicants.
3. Substantially non-responsive proposals will not be processed.
