EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE RENOVATION OF GIZ ECOWAS CLUSTER FACILITIES, ESPECIALLY BATHROOMS AND INNER DOORS
The Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, through its ECOWAS Cluster, OD Project, in Abuja, Nigeria commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany invites qualified construction companies to express their interest, for the project described below
The structure comprises 4 two-storey residential buildings with 8 semi-detached apartment units in a secluded compound in Asokoro, Abuja The scope of work comprises the renovation and renewal of 4 bathrooms, incl. tiles and accessories, renovation and repair of all inner doors incl. frames and door handles, renovation of electrical distribution boards, installation of LED light fittings in selected places, painting of all iron grills, construction of 2 new entry bathrooms, establishing of a reception area and a 4 room conference centre, establishing of a signage system for offices and compound, and provision of
selected furniture items.
Accordingly, GIZ invites interested and qualified construction companies with proven experience to express their interest by furnishing GIZ Nigeria Country Office with the following:
1. An official letter expressing interest with registered and physical address, email and telephone contacts.
2. Company profile including number of qualified technical staff and number of employees (permanent temporary) listed plus up to date organogram. This profile must include written Power of Attorney of the signatory stated on the company letterhead.
3. Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration and Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) Tax identification Number (TIN) registration Certificate
4. Provide your Quality Assurance Policy. clearly showing control procedures, test procedures.
5. List three (3) types of recent works of similar nature you have executed of which one should be within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Also provide photographs of the works. project name, location, award value, period of execution, as well as names, email addresses and phone numbers of the clients, etc
6. Recent Three-years Tax Clearance certificate: 2017,2018, 2019with a minimum annual turnover of 58 million
7. Provide copies of your insurance certificates/schedules or brokers:
(i) COREN
(ii) ARCON
(iii) PENcOM
(iv) Public Liability
(v) Employers Liability
(vi) Contractors All Risk (CAR)
8. Affidavit that the firm has not been blacklisted by any Government, Semi-Government & private institute nor involved in any litigation in the current year or during the last two years duly attested to by a Commissioner for Oaths from a court of competent jurisdiction.
