INVITATION TO GSO WAREHOUSE-SEALED BID AUCTION
The United States of America Embassy will conduct a sealed bid auction
sale of used furniture, Appliances and vehicles etc., as follows:
Inspection and Bidding Dates: Monday and Tuesday, March 22-23, 2021 from
9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Winning Bidders Notification: Thursday and Friday, March 25-26; 2021
Bank and Customs Duty Payments: Monday and Tuesday, March 29-30; 2021
from 09:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Property Removal Date: Friday and Saturday, April 02-03; 2021 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Important:
Bidders will be granted access to the Warehouse auction grounds in limited numbers by the security guards and permitted 20 minutes for inspection and bid submission. More time can be permitted, if requested.
Bidding sheets and lot descriptions will be available at the entrance.
Submission of bids into a sealed box will be allowed on the viewing days.
Deadline for the Submission of bids will be strictly cut off by 3.00 PM, Tuesday, March 23, 2021.
U.S. Government representatives will open the box at approximately 3:30 PM on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, and the winning bidders will be contacted by phone and/or email.
Winning bidders are to come to the Warehouse on Tuesday and/or Wednesday, March 29-30; 2021, by 9:00 AM to make both Bank and Customs Duly payments.
Please note: Buyers are responsible for ensuring the payment of all appropriate Customs Duties to the Nigerian Customs Service for all items purchased. Nigerian Customs Agents may be on site to monitor transactions.
COVID-19 Protocols will be observed at all times. Bidders must wear a proper face covering and remain socially distanced from other employees and visitors by at least one meter during your visit.
