INVITATION TO PREQUALIFICATION / TENDER
In line with the tripod vision of rehabilitation, reconstruction and recovery with objective for shared prosperity policy of His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodimma, Executive Governor of Imo State and in alignment with Government’s commitment on transparency, due process and accountability, the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, pursuant to its mandate to drive inclusive, sustainable development and transformation of the Commissions areas of intervention, invites reputable companies to bid for multiple construction projects.
SCOPE OF WORK: The projects consist of preliminaries pavement works, sub/super structure as may be applicable.
REQUIREMENTS: Interested companies are required to meet the following criteria. Please note that original copies of submitted documents should be provided for sighting.
(i) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and Articles of Memorandum of Association.
(ii) Practicing professional firm/consortium in the fields of Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or any other related discipline of the built environment.
(iii) A mix of sector experts in water, roads and building construction.
(iv) Up to date returns with CAC. Note that due diligence could be conducted.
( v) Evidence of Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years.
(vi) Evidence of similar jobs successfully executed in the past.
(vii) Proof of registration with the Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission.
(viii) Proof of registration with Imo State Ministry of Works.
(ix) Evidence of certificates obtained from the following Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF), National Pension Commission (PENCOM) and possession of Bureau of Public Procurement (BPP) Interim Registration Report.
(x) Evidence of financial capability to execute the project including Reference Letter from a reputable commercial bank indicating willingness to provide facility for the execution of the project when needed.
(xi) Company profile with curriculum vitae of key staff to be deployed for the project, including copies of their academic/professional qualifications.
(xii) Evidence of ownership/lease of construction equipment/machineries
(xiii) A sworn affidavit confirming that no Director of a participating Company has been convicted by a Law Court and that the Company is not bankrupt.
COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Please be advised that collection of tender documents should come with certified non-refundable bank draft payable to ISOPADEC, at 2nd Floor, Room 5, ISOPADEC Building, Owerri.
SUBMISSION: Relevant documents should be sealed and labeled “Prequalification/Tender for Lot 1-61 (specify projects)’ addressed to Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission. The document should be submitted to Tenders Committee, 2nd Floor Room 5, ISOPADEC Building, New Owerri, Imo State not later than 12noon of the last working day within the fourteen days from date of this publication (19 March, 2021)
