INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION

The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Investment is hereby inviting qualified Contractors to bid for execution of its programme and activities for the 2021 fiscal year.

DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT
The Project will involve the construction of Markets, establishment of ICT Hub, development of Industrial Park and Leasing of Factories/Industries in Nasarawa State etc,

SCOPE OF WORK

  • Construction works
  • Mechanical works
  • Civil works
  • Electrical works
  • Water supply and reticulation
  • Leasing
  • Consultancy
  • Procurement and installation of ICT equipment
  • Procurement and installation of machine
  • Facility Management etc.

PRE-QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT

  • Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
  • Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with forms C02, C07 and Memorandum of Association;
  • Evidence of registration with Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) database with Interim Registration Report (IRR) certificate valid till 31st January, 2020;
  • Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3)years (i.e. 2016, 2017, 2018) certificate valid till 31st December, 2019;
  • VAT registration certificate/Evidence of Remittances;
  • Evidence of compliance with Pension Reforms Act 2014 (PENCOM) certificate valid till 31st December, 2019;
  • Evidence of compliance with the provisions of Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Act 2011 as amended with certificate valid till 31st December, 2019;
  • Evidence of compliance with NSITF (10/0) Employees Compensation Act (NSITF) certificate valid till 31st December, 2019;
  • Detailed Company Profile and Organizational structure, including names and curriculum vitae of key Staff as well as their addresses and individual attestation of availability (for specialized expertise and consultancy projects);
  • Firms Corporate and key Staff membership registration with appropriate professional body to undertake the respective projects (e,g, COREN, ARCON, CORBON, SURCON etc.);
  • Three (3)-year audited accounts for the last three years (2016, 2017, 2018);
  • A sworn Affidavit that neither the Company nor any of the Directors of the Company has been convicted in any Court of Law for any criminal offence, especially in respect to this publication;
  • Evidence of financial strength and credit worthiness supported with a letter of reference from a reputable Bank and bank statement for the last six (6) months;
  • For Joints Venture Company, Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) duly registered in High Court should be provided;
  • Previous experience and verifiable at least three (3) of similar jobs undertaken, including evidence of the projects, such as letter of award, completion certificate etc.:

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION
Pre-qualification documents should be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked “PRE-QUALIFICATION” for State Projects and be delivered not later than two (2) weeks from the date of this advertisement  (19 March 2021) addressed to,

Please note that participation in the Expression of Interest (EOI) exercise is not guaranteed for consideration in the tender stage. Interested firms are to also note that only pre-qualified companies will be invited to tender for the works. Successful applicants will be notified of the result in due course.
