The Federal Republic of Nigeria has received financing from the World Bank towards the cost of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (NEWMAP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Procurement of Contractors for the Construction of Six (6) Gully Erosion Sites at Ikot Eneobong, Ekeya, Emma-Omin, Akai Effa, Jonathan By-Pass and Agiga in Calabar and Ogoja LGAs Respectively.

(1) The State Project Management Unit (SPMU), Cross River State – Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project (CRS-NEWMAP) on behalf of Cross River State Government now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Procurement of Contractors for the Construction of Gully Erosion Sites in Cross River State, LOTS 1-6
(2) Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- Procurement in Investment Projects Financing August 2018 (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
(3) Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from State Project Management Unit (SPMU) (CRS-NEWMAP) Attn: Dr. Inyang Asibong (State Project Coordinator), Email: crsnewmap@gmail.com , Telephone: +234(0)8037150872, +234(0)8068055521; and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 09:00am to 5:00pm at the address given below.
(4) A complete set of bidding document in English Language may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Forty Thousand Naira (N40,000.00) only per Lot. The method of payment will be by certified Bank cheque in favour of Cross River State Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project. The document will be sent by e-mail.
(5) Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 12 noon, Monday 24 May, 2021. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below on Monday, 24 May, 2021 by 12 noon.
(6) All Bids must be accompanied with a Bid Security for each lot as follows:

(7) Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
(8) A Pre-bid meeting would be held at the address below on Thursday, 6 May, 2021 which is Two Weeks before the bid opening date by 10:00am to allow potential bidders seek clarifications on the bidding document.
