INVITATION FOR PREQUALIFICATION AND TENDER IN RESPECT OF PHASE II CONSTRUCTION WORKS AT SPECIALIST HOSPITAL HADEJIA, SCHOOL OF NURSING AND MIDWIFERY BABURA AND NEW GENERAL HOSPITAL GURI.

In Compliance with Jigawa State Procurement Process law No. 13 of 2019, Jigawa State Ministry of Health wishes to notify the interested bidders of its intention to carry out Phase II Construction Works at Specialist Hospital Hadeija, School of Nursing and Midwifery Babura, and New General Hospital Guri.
(2) PROJECT SCOPE.
The Projects to be carried out include:
LOT 1: Construction of Additional Student’s Hostel (1 Block) and External Mechanical and Electrical Installation at School of Nursing and Midwifery Babura
LOT 2: Construction of External Road Network, Drainages and parking at School of Nursing and Midwifery Babura.
LOT 3: Construction of External Road Network, Drainages and parking at Specialist Hospital Hadeija
LOT 4: Construction of Staff Quarters and Mechanical and Electrical Installations for all the blocks at Specialist Hospital Hadeija
LOT 5: Construction External Road Network Drainages and additional structures at New General Hospital Guri
(3) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Bidding document should be submitted along with following documents:
(i) Certificate of Incorporation with Corporate Affairs Commission
(ii) Certified True Copy of Memorandum and Article of Association
(iii) Evidence of registration with Jigawa State Works Registration Board
(iv) Tax clearance certificate for the last three (3) years
(v) Audited Account for the last One (1) Year
(vi) VAT Registration and Evidence of past remittance
(vii) Evidence of financial capability and banking support
(viii) Company Average Annual Turn Over of not less than N500 Million
(ix) That the company have fulfilled all obligations to pay taxes, pensions, ITF Contribution and social security contributions
(x) Evidence of execution and completion of similar Projects at least 3 in the last 5 years.
(xi) Verifiable evidence of Company profile and technical qualification key personnel registered with relevant professional bodies (COREN, CORBON, QSRBN, ARCON etc)
(xii) A sworn affidavit certifying as Follows:
(a) That the document submitted for the pre-qualification exercise is not only genuine but correct
(b) That none of the directors of the Company has been convicted by any court of law
(c) That the Company is not bankrupt.
(d) That none of the officers of Jigawa State Local Government is a present or former director of the Company.
(xiii) Any other relevant information that will help in determining the Company’s suitability for the work.
(4) COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENT.
Bidding Document could be obtained from the office of the Director Planning, Research and Statistics, Ministry of Health Dutse at a non-refundable fee of Three Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira (N350,000.00) only by 9:00am to 3:00pm. (5) SUBMISSION OF BIDDING DOCUMENT
(1) The opening date is Tuesday 1 June 2021
(2) Submitted bid should come along with a Bid Security of note less than 2% of the total contract sum inform of Bank Guarantee.
(3) Prequalification and financial bids should be submitted in two different sealed envelopes, addressed to the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Health, block B New Secretariat Complex, Takur Dutse.
(4) All documents for submission must be transmitted with a forwarding letter dully signed by company representative under the company’s Letter Headed Paper bearing the CAC Registration Number (RC). Contact Address. Telephone Number (preparedly GSM)
(5) The Bid Validity period should be 120 days.
(6) Bids submitted after the deadline for submission will be returned un-opened
(7) This advert shall not be construed as commitment on part of the Jigawa State Ministry of Health, nor shall it entitle a Company to make any claim(s) whatsoever and/or to be any indemnity from the Jigawa State Ministry of Health by virtue of such Company having responded to this advertisement.
(8) All cost will be borne by the bidders as the Jigawa State Ministry of Health will not be held responsible for any cost or expenses incurred by any interested party i.e in connection with any response to this invitation.
