1. Introduction
Abuja Electricity Distribution Plc (AED Plc) established in November 2013, is a company registered under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria AED Plc is Required to maintain power quality in line with prevailing Nigeria regulations as set by the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) in its Customer Service Standards of Performance together with internationally accepted standards (EC 60050)

2. The Service
AED Plc is requesting for bids (Technical and Financial) from qualified firms for the below requested projects

3. Bidding Procedure
Bid security The bid security will be forfeited, if the Bidder
(a) withdraws his/her bid after it is opened during the period of validity specified in the bid, or
(b) having been awarded the contract fais (1) to sign the contract on the term and conditions provided in his bid, or (2) to furnish the Performance Security, if required to do so
The performance security shall be 10% of the Contract Price and in the farm of a Bark Guarantee. All bank guarantees should be addressed to NESI-SSL

  • Bidders cannot bid for more than two lots. The lots have been grouped as Lat 1 (1A & 18), Lot 2 (2A & 2B) and Lot 3 (3A & 38) and MUST bid for all tens in each chosen Lot. Six (6) contracts will be awarded under this procurement (for construction works) and a qualified bidder will only be awarded two contracts for constructions works ONLY
  • Lot 4 is open to only transformer manufacturers
  • Lot 5 is open to only NERC approved meter suppliers
