INVITATION TO SUBMIT BIDS FOR THE SUPPLY OF MEDICINES TO THE ACCELERATING NUTRITION RESULTS IN NIGERIA (ANRiN) PROJECT
The Network for Health Equity and Development (NHED) Ltd have been awarded a contract as a Non-State Actor (NSA) to implement the ANRiN Project in three (3) Northern States of Nigeria, and to provide a Basie Packages of Nutrition Services (BPNS) and have sub-contracted Crown Agents Nigeria Ltd. (Crown Agents) to provide procurement and supply chain management services.
ANRiN, with USS232 million financing from the International Development Association (IDA) and Global Financing Facility (GFF), aims to increase utilization of quality, cost-effective nutrition services for pregnant and lactating women, adolescent girls, and children under five years of age in twelve, geographically representative, high malnutrition burden states of Nigeria. Therefore, appropriately qualified suppliers of the required NAFDAC registered BPNS medicines are invited to submit bids for Framework Agreements for the supply of medicines to the ANRiN project.
Medicines covered under the BPNS include:
(1) Vitamin ‘A’ 100,000IU Soft Gelatin Capsules
(2) Multiple Micronutrient Powder
(3) Zinc/ORS
(4) Albendazole 200mg Tablets
(5) Vitamin ‘A’ 200,000IU Soft Gelatin Capsules
(6) Albendazole 400mg Tablets
(7) Iron 60mg + Folic Acid 400mcg Tablets
(8) Sulfadoxine/Pyrimethamine (SP) 25mg/500mg Tablets
To ensure efficiency of supply to the NHED-ANRiN Project, Crown Agents is looking to establish Framework Agreements for the duration of 3 years.
The closing date for receipt of electronic bids shall be the 25 of June 2021 at 1.00pm local time. Therefore, interested suppliers should apply to Crown Agents for a copy of the Invitation to Bid (ITB) to the email address: Jibrailu.Maliyogbinda@ng.crownagents.com and copy Sarah.Goldsmith@crownagents.co.uk with the following title in the subject:
