CALL FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST: TO PROVIDE CIVIL CONSTRUCTION WORKS AT NEIMETH INTERNATIONAL PHARMACEUTICAL PLC PROPOSED FACTORY AT AMAWBIA ANAMBRA STATE, NIGERIA

Neimeth international Pharmaceutical Plc (Neimeth) a leading healthcare company is calling for expressions interest (EOI) from eligible construction firms for the provision of civil construction works at its proposed factory at Amawbia, Anambra State meant to be compliant to World Health Organization current standards of Good Manufacturing Practices (WHO-GMP)

If interested, you are hereby invited to submit your EOI both by hardcopy of the requested documents as well as by email to the address stated below. The hard copy should be in a sealed envelope.

SHORTLISTING CRITERIA ARE:
1. Construction Experience

  • Minimum of ten years’ experience in civil construction of pharmaceutical project
  • Applicant’s catalogue showing relevant and verifiable work experience, including 2 major relevant projects of value not below 500 million naira.

2. Technical Interest And Capability: The Expression of Interest should include the following
a. Legal Status and capability in Nigeria

  • Certificate of incorporation
  • Membership of professional body both for the company and key personnel
  • Evidence of 3-year Tax clearance

b. Summary of General Experience

  • Previous experience and proven track record in construction of large projects
  • Specific Technical Area Capability and Qualifications- Summary of general technical experience and capability statements related to the specific technical areas of interest

c. Evidence of experience in construction of a GMP compliant factory or equivalent
d. information on a minimum of five (5) previous and or current projects, during the last three (3) years

3. Personnel Capabilities: Summary of entity leadership team and key technical staff, including description of management structure and entity ownership. The summary bio-data of key personnel is required.

4. Financial Capability

  • Detail of turnover over for the past five [5) years, source of credits
  • Evidence of funds availability for project execution
  • Bankers’ details and reference letters from applicants’ bankers
  • Payments shall be on the basis of Value Of Work Done (VOWD)
  • Initial mobilization is not available on the project

5. Submission Window

  • Submissions with all documentations should be in 7 sets.
  • Submission of a response serves as a notice to Neimeth of your general interest in the Project but does not constitute any agreement/engagement of the applicant.
  • Expressions of interest with the required documents must be delivered in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail or by e-mail) on or before 19th May, 2021, that is 2 weeks from the date of this publication
