This specific procurement Notice follows the General Procurement Notice (GPN) for the sub-programme which appeared in the United Nations Development Business (UNDB) No. 709 of August 31st, 2007.
The Federal Government of Nigeria has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Sub-programme in Yobe State and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of the loan to eligible payments under contracts for the Rehabilitation of 248 Nos of Motorized Boreholes, Rehabilitation of 45 Hand Pump Boreholes and Laying of pipe line in LGAs of Yobe State.
Yobe State Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Programme now invite sealed bids from bidders for the following construction works

Interested Bidders may bid for any contract or combination contracts, or any lot or a combination of lots. However, Bidders submitting multiple bids must present separate Bid Security for each lot. Combined bid security for more than one lot will render the bids non- responsive.
The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the African Development Bank Standard Bidding Document for the Procurement of small works, September 2010, revised 2018.

and inspect the Bidding Documents at the Address given below, from 8:30am – 4:30pm on working days.
A complete set of Bidding Documents which contain detailed specifications of the work may be purchased by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of Twenty Five Thousand Naira (NGN25,000.00) for each lot and ten thousand Naira (NGN10,000.00) for additional lot under a contract. Payment should be made to the project account below;

Bids must be delivered to the Programme Manager at the address stated below by 11:00am on the 9 June, 2021, and must be accompanied by a security of the amount stated in the table under paragraph 3 above.
Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who choose to attend in person at the address stated below on 9 June, 2021 by 12:00pm.
