INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PROVISION OF TRAINING ON BAKING AND CONFECTIONARIES
The Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; through Its “GIZ PME” financed by the German Government, cordially invites interested and qualified consulting firms/Consultants to express their interest for the following activity:
Provision of training and certification of 150 NGC beneficiaries on Baking and confectionaries (75) and Catering and Event Planning (75) in Benin City.
ELIGIBILITY AND SELECTION CRITERIA:
Accordingly, GIZ invites interested and qualified vocational skill training Centres/firms to express their interest by furnishing the GIZ with the following information:

| 1 | An official letter addressed to the Procurement Unit of the GIZ country office, expressing interest to engage in the tender process. |
| 2 | Company’s profile (with company physical address, contact details, owners, key officers, and technical personnel) |
| 3 | Proof of company registration with CAC (Copy of CAC certificate) |
| 4 | Proof of accreditation by the National Business and Technical Examination Board (NABTEB) (Letter of Confirmation of accreditation from NABTEB) |
| 5 | Company’s Articles of Incorporation |
| 6 | Evidence of at least 3 similar previous trainings implemented in Edo State with other organizations/ NGO/government parastatals/UN agencies and at least one (1) previous work or reintegration support through the provision of vocational skills trainings for returnees in vulnerable communities in Edo State (service completion certificates, reference letters or copies of past contracts should be attached as evidence). |
| 7 | Audited finance accounts for the last 3 years (2016-2020). |
| 8 | Qualification and experience of permanently employed staff (a minimum of three personnel is required, with CVs enclosed that dearly indicates qualifications and experience in the required expertise) |
| 9 | Bank reference Letter (addressed to the procurement & Contracting unit GIZ country office, Abuja) |
| 10 | Tax Clearance certificate for the last 3 years (showing an average annual turnover of forty-six million, five hundred thousand Naira only (NGN 46,500,000) |
Eligibility of companies will be concluded based on completeness and accuracy of documentation submitted.
SUBMISSION AND DEADLINES:
All interested consulting firms should submit the aforementioned documents as hard copy In a sealed envelope to GIZ Nigeria Office reception at No. 12 Charles de Gaulle close, Asokoro, Abuja.

Interested consulting firms should kindly send in requested documents not later than Friday, 9 July 2021. Kindly note that this is a pre-qualification process and there will be no need to submit technical or financial offers. Only companies who have passed the pre-qualification stage will be shortlisted and will be invited to bid for the activity.
