ADVERTISEMENT FOR PREQUALIFICATION OF MANUFACTURERS, CONTRACTORS, SUPPLIERS AND SERVICE PROVIDERS FOR 2021 CBN FUNDED PROJECTS
 

INTRODUCTION
Sequel to the Federal Government initiative to improve electricity supply in Nigeria, the Management of Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company invites interested, competent, reliable and qualified contractors, etc. to submit prequalification documents for the categories of projects, supply of goods and services listed below:

CATEGORY A PREQUALIFICATION FOR CONSTRUCTION WORKS

CATEGORY B_PREQUALIFICATION FOR PROCUREMENT OF GOODS

PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
The following pre-qualification documents are required:
1. Evidence of Company registration (CAC Certificate, CO2, cO7)
2. Comprehensive Company profile including details of key Professional staff.
3. Preceding 3 years signed Audited Accounts/Statement of Accounts (2018, 2019 and 2020).
4. Preceding 3 years ended Tax Clearance Certificate (2018, 2019 and 2020)
5. Value Added Tax (VAT) Registration Certificate and evidence of VAT remittances.
6. Evidence of Compliance with Pension Act, NSITE, ITF and evidence of remittances.
7. Evidence of adequate relevant equipment and facilities to execute the project (s) where applicable.
8. Evidence of legal capacity to enter into a contract. i.e. the company is not a receivership.
9. Evidence of financial capability to execute the project(s). This shall include a certified statement from a reputable Bank. (Bank reference letter only is not acceptable).
10. Verifiable evidence of previous experience i.e. having satisfactorily and successfully carried out similar project(s) within the last five years
11. Evidence of manufacturer’s accreditation; Manufacturing Companies MUST submit evidence of relevant manufacturing capabilities), facility(s) and SON or ISO Certificate.
12. Test certificate issued by well-known international standard Test Laboratory for Manufacturers of Equipment.
13.For OEM/Representative, ONLY EC Certified or KEMA Certified Manufacturer will be accepted. Such products will be required to be shipped via Europe. (Evidence of EC/ KEMA Certification must be attached.
14.An Affidavit affirming that none of the Directors of the Company was ever convicted in a Court of Law
15. Evidence of Corporate Social Responsibility (if applicable)
16. Evidence of Corporate Environmental and Governance Policy (if applicable)
17. Any other relevant documents) that will place the company on a comparative advantage

Interested Contractors who qualify for äny or all the categories may apply for Pre-qualification

Those who meet the criteria above will be prequalified for the categories applied for and will form the list of prospective bidders who will be issued tender documents to bid for execution of project(s) and procurement of goods under relevant categories.

Completed prequalification documents must be chronologically arranged.
Two (2) hard copies of the document in a sealed envelope boldly marked “PREQUALIFICATION FOR 2021 CBN FUNDED PROJECTS” with the name the company, mailing address, mobile phone number and category applied for clearly stated on the SEALED envelope, should be addressed to The Managing Director/CEO Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (IBEDC), Capital Building, NO. 115, MKO Abiola Way (Ring Road), Ibadan.

All completed Pre-qualification Documents must be submitted on or before July 2, 2021 at 3:00pm.
1. The documents submitted will be opened on Tuesday, July 6, 2021
2. All successful pre-qualified contractors, etc. will be invited to bid for the relevant Lot(s).

NOTE

  • All information and communication in respect of this invitation shall be in English Language
  • The Bid Documents will be sent to only eligible companies
  • All necessary authority & guarantee for verification of claim must be submitted to IBEDC
  • Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company (BEDC) reserves the right to accept or reject any Prequalification Document if deemed necessary to do so.
  • IBEDC will not enter into any correspondence with any unsuccessful applicant
  • This advertisement shall not be construed as a commitment on the part of IBEDC to enter into any contractual relationship nor shall it entail the company to make any  claim(s) whatsoever and/or to seek any indemnity from Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company by virtue of such company having responded to this invitation.
