PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT PLAN (PIP) PROJECTS 2021
PREQUALIFICATION OF MANUFACTURERS, CONTRACTORS, AND SUPPLIERS FOR 2021 PIP CAPEX PROJECTS
INTRODUCTION
(1) Kaduna Electricity Distribution Pic (Kaduna Electric) is a Power Distribution Company of the Nigerian Electricity Supply Industry (NESI) with the mandate to distribute Electricity across the states of Kaduna, Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara.
(2) Kaduna Electric hereby invites interested, competent, and reputable manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and consultants with relevant experience to submit prequalification documents for its upcoming 2021 Capital Project.
CATEGORIES:
A-WORKS: Construction, Rehabilitation, and or Upgrade of substations across the disco.
B – GOODS: The supply of power-related tools and equipment such as switch gears, control panels, network metering, testing equipment, IT equipment, etc.
C – SERVICES: Customer Service Improvement and IT investment
PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT FOR CAPEX PROJECT
(1) Application Form (please see KE Website)
(2) Company Profile including detailed resume/CV of company’s management and technical staff and relevant professional COREN certificates
(3) Copies of Certified Certificate of Incorporation, Memorandum, and Articles of Association.
(4) Copy of Current Tax Clearance Certificate for the past 3 consecutive years.
(5) Copies of Certified Audited Financial Statements for 3 consecutive years, or Statement of Affairs.
(6) Copy of VAT Registration Certificate.
(7) Disclosure Statement on Related Party with any member of Kaduna Electric Board of Directors, Management, and/or the Procurement Team.
(8) Sworn Affidavit in a Federal High Court on the following:
- That member of the Kaduna Electric Board of Directors, Management, and or the Procurement Team are not in any way related to the Company Bidding as Related Party (where applicable).
- That the company or its directors are not subject to any litigation that will affect its capacity in delivering its obligation on target.
- That all documents submitted are certified authentic and true.
(9) Copy of Manufacturer Authorization for vendors interested in Procurement, Supply & Installation Projects (where applicable).
(10) NEMSA Certification for vendors interested in Supply & Installation, Construction, and Rehabilitation as well as Maintenance Projects (where applicable).
(11) List of similar projects undertaking in the Last Five Years, if any (where applicable).
(12) Any other information or statutory document(s) that will place the company on a comparative advantage over others.
SUBMISSION
Application for EOI accompanied by the relevant documents should be forwarded in sealed envelope marked at the top left corner and boldly written “EOI in respect to 2021 Capital Projects” an address to:
