(1) The Nigerian Export Promotion Council (NEPC) is Nigeria’s apex institution for the promotion, development, and diversification of exports. NEPC has over the years worked to achieve its mandate by:
(a) coordinating and harmonizing export development and promotion activities in the country.
(b) taking the lead in all national export programs
(c) interfacing with international trade agencies on cooperation and capacity building
(2) Under the Federal Government of Nigeria’s Nigerian Economic Sustainability Plan (NESP), the NEPC is implementing the Export Expansion Facility Programme (EEFP), to expand the non-oil export base and actualize its flagship Zero-Oil Plan.
