INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION/EXPRESSION OF INTEREST TO BE APPOINTED AS EXTERNAL AUDITORS TO THE AHMADU BELLO UNIVERSITY TEACHING HOSPITAL ZARIA
1. INTRODUCTION
The ABUTH Management invites interested and reputable Audit Firms with relevant experience and good track record to submit pre qualification expression of interest documents in respect of appointment as External Auditors to the Hospital
2. ELIGIBILITY MANDATORY CRITERIA:
In order to be considered to tender for the above task, interested bidders must submit the following
i. Verifiable Evidence of incorporation and registration with Corporate Affairs Commission
ii. Verifiable Evidence of Registration with the office of the Auditor General of the Federation
iii. Verifiable Evidence of Registration with BPP National Database of contractors by inclusion of current interim Registration Report (IRR)
iv. Tax Clearance Certificate verifiable from Federal inland Revenue Services (FIRS) for the last 3 years (2018, 2019 & 2020) expiring December 2021
v. Company Audited Account for the last 3 years (2018, 2019 & 2020)vi. Verifiable vi. Evidence of compliance with the Pension Reform Act 2014 by inclusion of current Certificate of compliance from the National Pension Commission, where applicable
vii. Verifiable Evidence of compliance with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) Amend Act 2011 by inclusion of current compliance letter from ITF
viii. Verifiable Evidence of compliance with the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (Employee Compensation Act 2010) by inclusion of current compliance Certificate from NSITF
ix. Every Submission must be accompanied with a sworn affidavit that all information and documents submitted are true and correct and that no officer of the ABUTH is a former or present director, shareholder or someone with any pecuniary interest in he bidding
3. SELECTIVE CRITERIA:
In addition to the above, bidders should also submit the following,
i. Evidence of Financial capability supported with bank reference.
ii. List of similar, verifiable and successfully executed projects ongoing by the company with letters of award and completion certificates. Only tenders of award and interim certificate of payment should be attached for projects that are ongoing
iii. Company profile including list of professional staff qualification which should include names, CVs and copies of certificate of each staff
iv. Verifiable Evidence of VAT Registration with Tax identification Number (TIN) and up-to-date evidence of remittance
4. SUBMISSION OF PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Application for Pre-qualification should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Pre Qualification for Appointment as External Auditors”. Please indicate bidders name and address on the reverse side of the envelop and addressed to The Chief Medical Director, Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital Permanent Site Shika Zaria
The Tender Documents should be hand-dropped in the Tenders Box situated at the office of the Chief Medical Director, ABUTH Zaria, not later than 3-weeks from the date of this publication ie. on or before 12:00 Noon of Monday August 30th, 2021
5. OPENING OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
The Pre-qualification documents will be opened on the same day in the presence of applicants or their representatives by 1:30pm. of Monday August 30th, 2021, at the Board room of Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital, Shika Zaria.
NOTE:
1. Late submission shall be rejected
2. This notice is not an invitation to tender for the job.
3. This advertisement is published for information purposes only and should not be considered as a commitment or obligation on the part of the Hospital Management to award any contract to ary Contract or Supplier or Agent
4. Only companies who meet the above stated pre-qualification requirements would be contacted to tender.
5. Due diligence should be followed as all documents submitted would be verified. Past executed works and supplier/contractor offices may be visited
6. Failure to comply with any of the above stated instructions or to provide any of the listed documents may automatically result in disqualification
7. Any discrepancy found would summarily disqualify the bidder
8. The Hospital Management reserves the right to annul or cancel the bidding process at any time without incurring any liabilities and assigning any reason thereto
