EKITI STATE DEVELOPMENT AND INVESTMENT PROMOTION AGENCY
INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI) FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF TRUCK-STOP PARK IN OMUO-OKE IN EKITI STATE UNDER BUILD, OPERATE, AND TRANSFER (BOT) ARRANGEMENT
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
The Ekiti State Government is seeking to construct Truck-Stop Parks at major entry/exit points within the State to serve as rest points for long-distance trucks and haulage vehicles transiting through the State.
Application for Expression of Interest is hereby invited from suitably qualified and reputable project developer for the construction of a Truck Stop in Omo-Oke in Ekiti State under a Build, Operate and Transfer basis for a period of 10 years.
Prospective applicants must have proven and verifiable track records in the handling of similar projects and must be affiliates of the necessary regulatory bodies in the construction industry in Nigeria.
(2.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
The following requirements are to be submitted by interested firms:
(i) Evidence of Company Registration with the C AC;
(ii) Evidence of payment of Company Income Tax to FIRS for the last three (3) years;
(iii) Evidence of payment of Personal Income Tax by at least two (2) Directors of the Company (Limited Liability Company) or the Proprietor/Partner (Enterprise) for the last three (3) years;
(iv) Evidence of registration of business premises with Ekiti State Ministry of Trade and Industry;
(v) Company profile including a list of relevant professionals with respective professional bodies;
(vi) Evidence of Registration with Ekiti State Bureau of Public Procurement;
(vii) Evidence of successful completion of similar projects in the past i.e., letters of award of contract and certificate of completion; and
(viii) Evidence of financial capability to execute the project through submission of reference letter from a reputable commercial bank indicating willingness to provide credit facilities for the execution of the project when needed.
(4.0) SUBMISSION OF EOI DOCUMENT
The EOI document which must be written in English Language should include an original copy and three (3) other copies arranged in the order listed in 3.0 above.
The document for the job must be sealed in an envelope and delivered to the address below from 8am to 4pm (Monday-Friday) not later than four (4) weeks from the date of this publication.

(5.0) EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FEE
Each prospective applicant is expected to pay the sum of N50.000 as the Expression of Interest fee into Ekiti State Development and Investment Promotion Agency’s FCMB Account No 6661017017.
(6.0) OPENING OF EOI
The EOI documents will be opened immediately tiller the deadline for submission at 12:00 noon of 6 October 2021 in the Chamber former Governor’s Office. Please note that Ekiti State Development and Investment Promotion Agency will not be held liable for misplaced or through submitted EOI documents.
(7.0) IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This invitation does not constitute a commitment on the part Ekiti State Government and the submission of the document shall not entitle the interested parties to any claim against Ekiti State Government by virtue of such response to the EOI Invitation and any subsequent requests for information shall be for respondents’ account only.
