REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR THE PROVISION OF FACILITATOR SERVICE FOR UNHCR CODE OF CONDUCT/TEAM BUILDING RETREAT WORKSHOPS

1. Background:
The primary purpose at UNHCR is to safeguard the rights and well-being of people who have been forced to flee. Together with partners and communities, we work to ensure that everybody has the right to seek asylum and find safe refuge in another country. We also strive to secure lasting solutions. For over half a century, UNHCR has helped millions of people to restart their lives. They include refugees, returnees, stateless people, the internally displaced and asylum seekers.
In Nigeria, UNHCR operates with its country office in Abuja and two main offices in Maiduguri, focusing on the Internally Displaced Persons (DPs) and in Ogoja, providing support to the Cameroonian refugees in the South-east and South-South.
2. Eligibility:
The consultant(s) or organization(s) should possess proven track record of
i. Extensive consultancy experience in facilitation of team-building, knowledge-sharing workshops and conducting sustainable team-building activities;
ii. Demonstrated knowledge of the operations of international organizations;
iii. Excellent analytical, writing and communication skills; and
iv. Full computer literacy and fluency.
