IKOSI-EJINRIN LOCAL COUNCIL DEVELOPMENT ITA-MERIN, AGBOWA, LAGOS STATE
INVITATION FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION/REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (REOI) FOR PROJECTS EXECUTION
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
Ikosi – Ejirin Local Council Development Area, in pursuit of its mandate and in compliance with the requirement of the Lagos State Public Procurement Agency Law 2011 (as amended in 2021) and in line with the budgetary provisions of the Local Council Development Area.
The Local Council Development Area hereby invites Expression of Interest from prospective Contractors/Suppliers/Consultants with the objective of Pre-qualifying them to develop a database of Service Providers with which Ikosi-Ejirin Local Council Development Area will partner within the execution of budgetary provisions.
(2.0) PRE-QUALIFICATION AREAS
(A) GOODS
(a) Supply of Utility, Official and Project Vehicles
(b) Supply of Vocational Equipment
(c) Procurement and Installation of Street Lights
(d) Procurement and Installation of Transformers
(e) Procurement of Office/School Furniture
(f) Procurement of Educational Materials
(g) Procurement of Office and Medical Equipment/Tools
(B) WORKS
(a) Construction and rehabilitation of Boreholes
(b) Construction of Primary Health care Centres (PHC)
(c) Desilting of blocked drainages
(d) Rehabilitation and upgrading of Blocks of Classrooms in Public Primary Schools
(e) Construction and Rehabilitation of Road
(C) CONSULTING SERVICES
(1) Training and Manpower Development
(2) Agricultural Development and food security
(3) Professional Consulting services for feasibility services
(D) NON-CONSULTING SERVICES
(1) Routine fumigation of public buildings
(2) Environmental Services and waste management
(3) Catering and Entertainment services
(3.0) REQUIREMENT FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION
The Expression of Interest must be submitted with the following documents
(i) Duly signed covering letter by the company’s authorized signatory indicating the specific area (s) of specialization under the four (4) Headings (Goods, Works, Services and Non-Consulting Services) with company profile.
(ii) Certificate of incorporation/registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(iii) Evidence of Registration/Renewal with Ikosi-Ejirin Local Council Development Area
(iv) Evidence of payment of three (3) years Tax Clearance (2018-2020)
(v) Possession of experience as Prime Contractor/Consultant/Supplier in at least two projects of similar nature and complexity with verifiable letters of contract awards and certificate of Job Completion within the last five years.
(vi) Evidence of technical partnership/joint venture where necessary
(vii) Evidence of financial capabilities (Reference letter from reputable bank)
NOTE
(a) EOI/Pre-qualification submission must be in English only and clear about the area(s) of interest and competence of each category
(b) Interested applicants must note that the Ikosi-Ejirin Local Council Development Area reserve the right to verify claims made in the pre-qualification documents submitted at any level.
( c) The Pre-qualification exercise shall not be construed as commitment on the part of the Ikosi-Ejirin Local Council Development Area to award any contract.
(d) The cost for this exercise will be sole responsibility of the interested party (ies) to this invitation
( e) Interested eligible applicants may obtain further information at the procurement office of Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area Secretariat.
(4.0) SUBMISSION OF EOI/PRE-QUALIFICATION DOCUMENTS
Application must be enclosed in sealed envelope and addresse to: The Executive Chairman, Ikosi-Ejinrin Local Council Development Area Secretariat, Agbowa, Lagos and delivered at the procurement office on or before 12:00 hour on 4 November 2021
