EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE APPOINTMENT OF EXTERNAL AUDITOR
(1.0) INTRODUCTION
The National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi-Lagos (NOHL) hereby invites reputable Audit firms with relevant proven competence and experience to bid as EXTERNAL AUDIT OR to the Hospital.
(2.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
Prospective bidders must possess the under-listed requirement to be eligible for the contract
(a) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
(b) Evidence of Partner’s current Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three (3) years.
(c) Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate.
(d) Company’s profile with Partner’s Practicing Licenses.
(e) Evidence of payment of VAT
(f) Evidence of Audi ted Accounts for the last three (3) years.
(g) Evidence of verifiable relevant experience in executing similar job.
(h) Evidence of registration with Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria
(i) Evidence of registration with the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation
(j) Current affidavit disclosing: –
(1) That the company is not in receivership, insolvent, or bankrupt.
(2) That the company does not have any Director who has ever been convicted in any court in Nigeria or any other country for criminal offence in relation to fraud or financial impropriety.
(3) Whether or not any officer of the relevant Committee of the NOHIL is a former or present Director, Shareholder or has any pecuniary interest in the bidding.
(4) That all documents submitted for the bidding are true and correct in all particulars.
(3.0) SUBMISSION OF BID DOCUMENTS:
Interested and competent firm should forward six (6) sets of their applications (containing requirements listed above) one (1) original and five (5) copies to:

The completed and sealed bid documents should contain the bidder’s name on the reverse side of the envelope and be deposited in Tender Box in the Procurement Department between the hours 8am-4pm Monday-Friday within six (6) weeks of the date of publication of this advertisement upon presentation of evidence of payment of non-refundable tender fee of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) only using Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Payment account details as follows:

(4.0) CLOSING DATE & OPENING
Submission of bid documents closes on Tuesday 30 November, 2021 at 4:00p.m. Any bid received after the stated date and time shall not be considered. The submitted bids will be opened on Wednesday 1 December, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Hospital’s Old Board Room Bidders/ Company representatives and interested members of the public including relevant professional bodies, Civil Society and Non-Governmental Organizations are hereby invited to witness the public opening of the technical bids.

(i) The Evaluation shall be strictly based on the requirements specified above.
