INVITATION TO TENDER FOR PRE-QUALIFICATION/FINANCIAL BIDS
INTRODUCTION
This is to inform the general public that Gwiwa Local Government is carrying out the above mentioned project, therefore interested companies are required to indicate their interest with regards to the said project while complying with the necessary procedures as follows:
SCOPE OF THE WORK: UPGRADING OF KWANAR ZAUMA TO ZAUMA GAURAYE TO DUWIGI FEEDER ROAD TO FIRST COAT SURFACE DRESSING PHASE1, (7KM)
(1) PREAMBLES:
In compliance with the Jigawa State procurement process, the Gwiwa Local Government wish to notify interested Bidders of its intention to procure:- LG GWW/PROC/ROAD CONSTRUCTION PROJECT LOT 1
(2) PROJECT SCOPE
Up-grading of kwanar Zauma-zaumar Mahauta to Zaumar Fulani- Zaumar Gauraye Road to First Coat Surface Dressing with Completion period of 16weeks.
(3) TENDER REQUIREMENT
Interested and competent companies are required to submit their verifiable evidence, profiles including but not limited to the following documents:
(a) Certificate of in cooperation with cooperate affairs commission
(b) Certificate true copy of memorandum and articles of association
(c) Evidence of registration with Jigawa State works Registration unit
(d) Tax clearance certificate for the last 3 years
(e) Audited account for the last 1 year
(f) VAT registration and evidence of past remittance
(g) Evidence of financial capability and banking support
(h) Company average annual turnover of not less than 100 million Naira
(i) Evidence of similar project Executed (letter of award and completion certificate) of at least 2 in the last 5 years
(j) Verifiable evidence of company’s profile and technical qualification of key personnel registered with relevant professional bodies (COREN, CORBON, QSRBN.ARCON etc)
(k) That company fulfilled all obligation to pay Tax, Pension and Social security contributions.
(l) A Sworn Affidavit certifying as follows:
(i) That the document submitted for the pre-qualification exercise are not only genuine but correct.
(ii) That none of the directors of the company have been convicted by any court of law.
(iii) That the company is not bankrupt.
(iv) That none of the officers of Gwiwa local Government Jigawa State, is a present or former director of the company.
(v) Any other relevant information that will help in determining the company’s suitability for the work,
(vi) Any prospective bidder that does not possess any of the above documents need not to apply.
(4) COLLECTION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS
Interested bidders are to collect the tender documents from the office of the director planning, research/statistics. Gwiwa Local Government from the date of publication of this advert and between the hour of 09:00am to 05:00pm daily after payment of non-refundable fee of N30,000.00k.
(5) SUBMISSION OF THE TENDER DOCUMENT
Prequalification and financial bids should be submitted in two different sealed Envelopes and leveled “prequalification Bids’ and “financial Bid’ respectively with company’s name indicated on one side of envelopes. Both envelopes should be sealed in to the one bigger envelope also sealed and marked with the project name at the top right hand comer and address to: The executive Chairman Gwiwa local government Jigawa State, not later than Friday 24 December, 2021 by 12 noon.
All documents for Submissions must be transmitted with a forwarding letter dully signed by company representative under the company’s Letter Headed paper bearing the CAC registration Number (RC), contact Address, Telephone number and Email Address.
The Financial bids should be contain a bid Security of not less than 2% of the quoted bid by way of bank guarantee or insurance bond issue by reputable bank or reputable insurance company acceptable to the procuring entity.
The bid validity period should be 90 days from the deadline of the bid Submission date.
(6) OPENING OF BIDS
Only technical bids should be opened immediately after the deadline for Submission by 12:00noon. at the Conference Hall of Gwiwa local government Secretariat Jigawa state.
(7) GENERAL INFORMATION
(i) Bids submitted after the deadline for Submission will be returned unopened.
(ii) Only the financial bids of successful bidders will be opened, while those the un-successful bidders will be returned unopened.
(iii) This advert shall not be construed as commitment on the part of the Gwiwa local government nor shall it entail a company to make any claim(s) whatsoever and/or to seek any indemnity from the local government by virtue of such company having responded to this advert.
(iv) All cost will be the bidder’s responsibility as the local government will not be the held responsible for any cost expenses incurred by any interested party (ie) in connection with any response to this invitation.
(v) The local government reserves the right to annul or reject a bidder during the procurement process at any time without incurring any liabilities.
(vi) Alternative bids will not be accepted.
(vii) Bidders with the same subsidiary relations ip are not allowed to partake in the same lot
