DEADLINE:19TH NOVEMBER, 2021
SEEFAR
REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR VERSION 2 OF AN ANDROID MOBILE APP FOR TEACHERS

Seefar has a network of teachers in countries such as Mali, Nigeria, Afghanistan and Indonesia. We support them to improve their knowledge and skills. In 2021, we adapted some of our content for delivery as modules in a mobile application called TeachSmart (“V1 app”) for teachers in Mali and Nigeria available in English and French.

We would like to create a new version of TeachSmart that incorporates more interactive elements for teachers and will allow them to improve their professional development (“V2 app”).

This RFP only covers Version 2. Version 1 of the app has already been deployed and the latest published version is here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.teachsmart.mobile

App feature requirements
V2 app must be able to comply with the following feature requirements:

(1) Take the existing TeachSmart brand and incorporate it into the V2 app, consistent with the branding of the V1 app;

(2) Create a user interface in both English and French that can automatically change depending on the user’s country;

(3) Create a platform that will allow for the listed features to be included;

(4) Create a platform that will be able to cope with multiple logins and uses at the same time;

(5) Create a platform that will be easy to navigate for people with limited experience using apps;

(6) Create a platform that is able to support PDF documents, quizzes, videos and written content without having to leave the app to download extra plug-ins;

(7) Create a platform that will allow for all content to be accessed and used offline.

ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for consideration, you must:

(1) Be able to deliver your own quality assurance processes, including bug identification and fixing before delivery to Seefar.
