INVITATION TO TENDER FOR THE EXECUTION OF BESDA 2021 PROJECTS
The State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) Kano, is undertaking a year 2021 Better Education Service Delivery for All (BESDA) procurement of Assorted Instructional Materials. Consequent upon this, the Board, SUBEB hereby invites interested, experienced and reputable companies to submit documents, to tender for their choices.
(A) PROJECTS TO BE EXECUTED:
(1) Procurement of 320,250no. P1 Text Books on Rana to SUBEB Headquarters.
(2) Procurement of 305,000 P2 Text Books on Rana to SUBEB Headquarters.
(3) Procurement of 6,500 Teachers Guide on Rana, for P2 to SUBEB Headquarters.
(4) Provision of 3023 unit of Classrooms Furniture to selected Schools across the 44 no. LGAs.
(5) Renovation of selected Classrooms Block across the 44 no. LGAs.
(6) Construction of 92 no. Toilet Block across the 444 no. LGAs
(B) SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS:
Interested companies should submit the following documents to the Office of the Deputy Tenders Board Secretary, SUBEB Headquarters, Audu Bako Secretariat, Kano on or before 7 March, 2022 by 12:00 pm.
(1) Comprehensive company profile.
(2) Evidence of registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(3) Certificate of Compliance with pension act 2004 from Pencom.
(4) Evidence of Registration with Due Process Bureau, Kano State.
(5) Certificate of compliance with ITF act 2011.
(6) Evidence of Registration with Bureau for Public Procurement (BPP) National Data Base of Contractors, Consultants and Service providers.
(7) Evidence of Financial capabilities.
(8) Evidence of Technical/ Managerial Capabilities.
(9) Evidence of compliance with NSITF act.
(10) Evidence of execution of previous similar project with SUBEB or any other similar organization in the Country.
(11) Evidence of Annual turnover of company for at least 3 years.
(12) Evidence of Registration with VAT office.
(13) Evidence of Payment of Tax Clearance for 3 years.
(14) Sworn Affidavit from the High Court of Justice in the Country, Affirming that No officer of SUBEB or the relevant committees of the Kano State Due Process Bureau or the BPP is a former Director or present shareholder, has any pecuniary interest in the bidder, that all information presented in the bid are true and correct in particulars, that None of the directors has been committed in any Court of Law for any Criminal offence including fraud and any financial impropriety falsification or act in similar nature and that all information contained in bidding are genuine.
(c) Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from State Universal Basic Education Board Kano, Hassan Bashir Ibrahim (hassbash63gmail) and collect Bidding documents during office hours (10:00am to 3:00pm).
(D) COLLECTION AND RETURN OF TENDER DOCUMENTS:
(i) Completed bids are to be returned to the secretariat not later 7 March, 2022 by 12:00 pm.
(ii) Submitted bids will be opened on the closing date i.e. 7 March, 2022 by 12:00 pm at SBMC Hall, Audu Bako Secretariat Kano.
(E) All Bids must be accompanied by a bid securities, for a sum as appropriate, where Applicable.
(F) You are the to pay the sum of Twenty Thousand Naira (N20,000.00) for the purchase of Bidding document to SUBEB Account No.1014762120, Zenith Bank.
NOTE:
(i) That late submission of bids will not be entertained, please.
(ii) That collection and submission of Tender documents does not guarantee award of the contract.
(iii) That the Board is not bound to accept the lowest tender.
