INVITATION TO TENDER FOR SUPPLY OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND HOSPITAL FURNITURE FOR MATERNAL AND CHILDCARE (MNCH) COMPLEX

(1) The State Ministry of Health & Human Services in pursuit of Yobe State’s Government Healthcare Delivery Policy has created an enabling environment for eligible interested bidders/vendors to submit tender for the Supply of Medical Equipment and Hospital Furniture for Maternal and Newborn Childcare (MNCH) Complex at Yobe State University Teaching Hospital (YSUTH), Damaturu as follows:

(2) Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified in the Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement’s Guidelines (Procurement of Good, Works and related Services) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines.

(3)  Interested eligible bidders/vendors may obtain further information from the Chief Planning Officer/Head of Procurement & Disposal Unit (HPDU) and collect bidding documents during office hours (0900 to 1500 hours) at Ministry of Health Headquarters, Damaturu and bidders/vendors must satisfy major requirements in addition to those contained in Standard Bidding Documents.

(4) Qualification Requirements:

  • Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) Nigeria
  • Evidence of Company Registration with Yobe State Bureau on Public Procurement;
  • Evidence of VAT Registration and 3years Tax Clearance Certificate
  • Evidence of current PENCOM, ITF, NSITF Compliance Certificates;
  • Audited Accounts for three (3) Years;
  • General Experience of Financial Capabilities and Average Annum Turnover

(5) A Complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of non-refundable fee of Forty Thousand Naira Only (40,000.00)

Bids must be delivered to Yobe State Ministry of Health & Human Services on or before 1, February, 2022. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidder’s designated representatives at Ministry of Health & Human Services (Headquaters), Abali Muhammed Idriss Cresecent, Opp. Nigeria Police Works Dept, P.M.B 1047, Damaturu by 12:00 noon.
