SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
Sequel to the recommendation of the State Executive Council (EXCO) and the directive of His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, Engr, Dr David Nweze Umahi, in tandem with Ebonyi State Law No. 007 of 2021 Section 39, page 48 and 49, we wish to inform members of the Public that Ebonyi State Government want to lease EBSU Pocket Layout, Ishieke to prospective developers.
The said lease will be for 99 years to protect the investment subject to the investors abiding by all existing State rules and laws.
Furthermore, the land is situated at Ebonyi State University (EBSU) Pocket Layout, Ishieke, measuring 534890.767m2
Interested members of the public are given between 9 February, 2022 to 10 March 2022 to inspect the said land and forward to the Bureau on Public Procurement, Cabinet Office, Abakaliki or come with the sealed bids on 11 March 2022, during bids opening with the following:
(1) The name of the prospective Investors
(2) The number of the hectares/bidded for
(3) Payment Plans
(4) Phone Number(s) Address of Investors
(5) Evidence of financial standing to meet up with the payment and development plans
NOTE THE FOLLOWING
(1) The bidding documents must be in a sealed envelope and submitted to the office of the Executive Secretary, State Bureau on Public Procurement, Cabinet Office, Abakaliki
(2) Sales shall be by open competitive bidding
(3) Sale shall be on first come first served basis
(4) Bids will be opened on 16 March, 2022 by 11am at International Conference Centre (ICC)
(5) Bureau shall sell based on evaluation of submitted bid documents
(6) The successful bidder will only sign the lease document, the process and programmes are approved by the State Executive Council (EXCO) and finally by Ebonyi State House of Assembly
