INVITATION TO TENDER AND INSTRUCTION FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF ONE DEEP MOTORIZED BOREHOLE IN IGBO-EZE NORTH AND TWO BLOCKS OF 4 CABIN LATRINES
(1.0) PREAMBLE
The Government of Enugu State through WaterAid Nigeria with support from the Latter- Day Saints Charity (LDSC) under the Strengthening Water and Sanitation Delivery Project hereby invites tenders from reputable and qualified companies for the construction of one deep motorized borehole in Igbo-Eze North and two blocks of 4 cabin latrines in Enugu South Local Government Areas of the State respectively.
(2.0) SCOPE OF WORK
Lot 1: Construction of 1No. Generator powered 10,000 liters borehole scheme in Umuogili Amufie community, Igbo-Eze North LGA.
Lot 2: Construction of 2No. blocks of 4 cabin latrines at Gariki market, Enugu South LGA,
(3.0) MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
Companies interested in participating in the tendering process are to submit their company profiles which must contain the following:
(i) Evidence of Registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC);
(ii) Evidence of Company Tax Clearance Certificate for the last three years (2019,2020, 2021);
(iii) List of certified Board Members showing their designation on the Board
(iv) The forwarding letter submitting the bid documents should be signed by the Chairman of the Board or his alternate.
(v) Resume of key technical staff (Geologist or Hydrogeologist, Civil and Structural Engineer and Electrical or Mechanical Engineer) stating their years of experience, relevant past work done and evidence of membership of a Professional body.
(vi) Verifiable evidence of similar projects previously undertaken, including letters of awards and Completion Certificates within the pass three (3) years; also, indicate the financial value of these similar projects;
(vii) Certified copies of company bank statement in the last 6 months
(viii) Description and list of relevant equipment owned by the company; include proof of ownership or lease or license over the equipment;
(ix) A work plan indicating how the work will be carried out from start to finish and number of days required to complete the work.
(x) Certificate of participation in site visit duly signed by the Ministry of Water Resources.
(4.0) COLLECTION AND SUBMISSION OF TENDER DOCUMENTS AND COMPANY PROFILES
Interested bidders are to collect the bid documents from the Office of the Small Town Water Supply Unit in the Enugu State Ministry of Water Resources, Enugu, on payment of tender fee as follows:

Collection of tenders documents upon presentation of evidence of payment shall commence from 11 February to 25 February, 2022 between 9:30 am to 3:30 pm, Mondays to Fridays, except on public holidays. Completed tender documents and company profile, which shall be in SIX copies (ONE original and FIVE photocopies), containing spreadsheet copy of the completed BOQ and PDF Copies of other bid documents are to be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the company’s bid invitation number at the top left-hand corner, indicating the Lot number and addressed to:

(5.0) INFORMATION MEETING AND SITE VISIT
There will be an information meeting by all prospective tenderers on Wednesday 18 February, 2022, at the Conference Hall of the Ministry of Water Resources, Enugu State Secretariat at 11am. This is a unique opportunity for all tenderers to seek clarifications and ask questions from clients of the projects.
A mandatory site visits to Umuogili Amufie and Gariki market will take place on Thursday, 19 February, 2022. Take off point for the site visit shall be the Ministry of Water Resources, Enugu State Secretariat at 9am. It is mandatory for any prospective tenderer to participate in this site visit as Certificate for participation shall be given by the Ministry and shall be submitted as evidence of participation along with other bid documents.
