KWARA STATE MINISTRY OF WATER RESOURCES
EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE REHABILITATION OF OMU-ARAN AND OKE-ONIGBIN WATERWORKS
(1.1) INTRODUCTION
The Ministry of Water Resources is hereby inviting interested, reputable and qualified contractors, with relevant experience and good track records necessary for the rehabilitation of the under-listed projects.
(A) Rehabilitation of Omu-Aran Waterworks; and
(B) Rehabilitation of Oke-Onigbin Waterworks
(2.0) ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT
Interested and competent Companies wishing to submit Expression of interest are requested to submit their Company’s profiles which shall include the following:
(i) Evidence of Registration with Kwara State Public Procurement Agency
(ii) Evidence of Certificate of Incorporation issued by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).
(iii) Evidence of Company Incomes Tax Clearance for the last three (3) years (2019, 2020 and 2021).
(iv) Evidence of current Pension Compliance Certificate valid till 31st December, 2021.
(v) Evidence of current Industrial Training Fund (ITF) compliance certificate valid till 31st December 2021.
(vi) Evidence of current Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) compliance certificate valid December 2021.
(vii) Company Audited Accounts for the last three (3) years (2019, 2020 and 2021).
(viii) Evidence of financial capability to execute the project by submission of reference letter from a reputable Commercial Bank in Nigeria.
(ix) Company’s profile with curriculum Vitae of key staff including their Academic and professional qualifications.
(x) Verifiable documentary evidence of at least three (3) similar jobs executed in the last five (5) years including Letter of Awards, valuation Certificate, Job Completion Certificates, etc.
(3.0) SUBMISSION OF EOI
Interested Companies are to submit two (2) bound of Expression of Interest (EOI) documents. The document should be submitted in sealed envelope and addressed to:
The Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Water Resources,
P.M.B 1497, Kwara State, Ilorin.
And clearly marked with (the name of the project).
Furthermore, the reverse of each sealed envelope should bear the name and address of the Company and dropped in the designated Tender Box located at:
Permanent Secretary’s Office,
Ministry of Water Resources,
Ilorin.
Not later than 12noon of 10 March, 2022.
(4.0) OPENING OF EOI
The EOI documents will be opened immediately after the deadline for submission at 12:00 Noon of 10 March, 2022 in the Conference Room of the Ministry.
Please note that the Ministry of Water Resources will not be held liable for misplaced or wrongly submitted EOI documents.
(5.0) GENERAL INFORMATION
(a) EOI must be in English Language and signed by an official authorized by the Companies;
(b) EOI submitted after the deadline for submission would be returned un-opened;
(c) All costs will be borne by the Companies;
(d) Bidders can submit through Post (Courier Services);
(e) Only shortlisted Contractors will be contacted at a later date for collection of Tender Documents;
(f) The Kwara State Ministry of Water Resources is not bound to accept any bidder and reserves the right to annul the Procurement Process at any time without incurring liabilities in accordance with section 38 of the Kwara State Public Procurement Law, 2018, as amended.
Payment of non-refundable tender fee
for: Oke-Onigbin 150,000:00 and Omu-Aran 250,000:00 only.
