INVITATION TO TENDER FOR UNIVERSAL BASIC EDUCATION (U.B.E) 2021 PROJECTS IN KATSINA STATE
Katsina Slate Universal Basic Education Board wishes to invite contractors to tender for 2021 Universal Basic Education Commission/State Universal Basic Education Board (UBEC/SUBEB) Projects in the State. Interested companies/firms are requested to bid for projects on Early Child Care Development Education (ECCDE), Primary and Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) components.
(2) SCOPE OF THE PROJECTS:
LOT 1 Extension of Storey Building at Muhmmadu euhari Primary School, Daura Lot 2 Rehabilitation of Primary School and Junior Secondary Schools (1-34) Lot 3 Construction of blocks of 2 Classrooms only Lot 4 Construction of blocks of 2 Classrooms, Office and Store Lot 5 Construction of Ventilated Improved Toilets (V.I.P Toilets) Lot 6 Supply and Delivery of ECCDE Furniture Lot 7 Construction and Drilling of Force-Lift Borehole Facilities Lot 8 Construction/Delivery of pupil’s and teachers’ furniture for Primary and Junior Secondary Schools (1-138)
(3) BASIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE BIDDERS:
Interested contractors must be reputable and technically competent with verifiable track record on similar projects
All pre-qualification documents shall be subjected to strict technical evaluation, as such, interested contractors shall submit the following documents:
(i) Evidence of Incorporation with CAC or Business Name Registration
(ii) Registration Certificate with Katsina State Tenders Board.
(iii) Certificate of Registration as Contractor with SUBEB Katsina.
(iv) Evidence of Tax Clearance for three years (2018/2019/2020).
(v) Certificate of Registration with Nigerian Social Insurance Trust Fund (In case limited liability company)
(vi) Certificate of Compliance with Industrial Training Fund (ITF) (in case limited liability company)
(vii) Certificate of Compliance with National Pension Commission (PENCOM) (In case limited liability company)
(viii) Evidence of Registration with National Bureau of Public Procurement (In case limited liability company)
(ix) Evidence of Company’s Financial Capability.
(x) Evidence of Award and Completion of similar jobs in the past
(xi) Company’s profile, experience and qualification of key personnel.
(4) SUBMISSION OF COMPLETED TENDER DOCUMENTS:
(a) All Tender Documents are to be obtained from SUBEB Headquarters upon payment N10,000.00 non-refundable through outlined Bank.
(b) The completed Tender documents MUST be submitted in sealed envelope(s) and clearly marked the LOT (S) for each project in view as itemized in paragraph 2 (1-8) above and shall be addressed and delivered to:

K.C.K Compound Katsina.
Not later than 10:00am on Wednesday 30 March, 2022. The documents will be opened, by 11:00am on the closing date at the Board’s Conference Hall.
Please NOTE: That:
(a) The Board reserves the right to reject any Tender Document package that does NOT fulfill its Guidelines.
(b) This invitation to Tenders shall not be considered as a commitment to the part of State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBE8) Katsina nor shall It entitle any company to make any claim whatsoever and/or seek any indemnity from the (SUBEB) or from the State Government and/or any of its departments, by virtue of such company having responded to this advertisement.
(c) Only successful qualified Bidders will be considered for Tender
(d) Bidders are advised to deal directly with SUBEB as NO Agent or Proxy have been appointed for this purpose. Any Bidder or person(s) that does contrary to laid-down instructions does so at his/her own risk
