THE NIGERIA PRIZE FOR SCIENCE (2022) CALL FOR ENTRIES
Entries are invited from Scientist worldwide for advancing scientific solutions to a prescribe problem for which Nigeria benefits as captured by the theme for the year, Innovations in Sustainable Food Security
The Winner(s) would receive an award of $100,000.00
The annual prize for science was instituted in 2004 by Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) to recognize outstanding scientific achievements by Scientists in line with its vision of helping to build a better Nigeria
SCOPE
- Improvement in food production with adequate nutritional values that meets the needs of the population.
- Processes in food production and food process technologies
- Organic food preservation technologies
ELIGIBILITY
The award is open to subscribers worldwide Nigeria and non-Nigerians) involved in the application of science to proffer innovations in sustainable food security.
Members of the advisory Board of Judges or their relatives are not allowed to enter their works for the Science Prize during their year of service as well as the following year:
NLNG staff or their members are ineligible to enter for the prize.
