REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FROM CROP PROTECTION COMPANY
Dangote Sugar Refinery Plc, located in Lagos Nigeria requires the services of a competent crop protection company to spray aerially a growth regulator (ethephon) on 5,300 hectares of Its commercial sugarcane farm to control flowering of the crop, at Its sugar backward Integration project estate In Numan Adamawa State, Northeast Nigeria.
The aerial spraying is scheduled during the second week of July 2022 and the application campaign should be completed under suitable climatic conditions (temperature, humidity, wind speed), within ten days.
Interested service providers should submit their company profile with the following details:
- The number and type of aircrafts /UAV Drones the service provider can make available for the operation.
- Their flight /UAV conditions and readiness of the squadron.
- Tank capacities.
- The last aerial application carried out by the company.
With consideration of the following:
- Spray volume: 30 Liters/ha.
- Droplets count, Uniformity, Flying Speed, Height above crop will be technically evaluated for the machine model In technical trials
